The sales are great here and meat/cheese/deli prices are lower than Mariano 's, but produce and liquor at Mariano 's are way better....I go to both
Jewel has excellent produce. If you can't find what your looking for they will go in back and get it for you.
Mariano 's could be a little more expensive on certain stuff, but definitely go to Mariano 's for produce, meats, etc. Get the Jewel Card and you could save a few bucks.

There's a better store nearby., but it doesn't have a discount drug store attached

Produce is really bad here. Go across Milwaukee Ave to Mariano 's. I don't agree with previous tip - Mariano 's isn't more expensive .
