The Music Center at Strathmore

A really wonderful venue to see your favorite performer . Arrive early and enjoy a somewhat overpriced meal on the terrace . Had the salmon tonight, it was very good. It was also nice to have a beer .

So impressed with this beautiful facility! Convinced my Aunt to walk the sky bridge on the 4th level (that takes you from the parking lot , directly to the facility). And the staff were great as well !

Lower box seats or Orchestra seats are the best location to enjoy a performance . Side box seats are less comfortable because you have to sit with your head turned toward your shoulder to view stage.

Become a member and get exclusive access to ticket pre-sales before they go on sale to the public. I've seen some awesome concerts here and have always had the best seats in the house!

Not a bad seat in the house, with free parking in the garage for concert hall shows. Keep an eye on their website for added shows.

Saw Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses here. This is an excellent venue for symphony music and I highly recommend it!

One of the best acoustics in a concert hall in the DC metro area. Great for vocals. It's all about music !

A great venue for Classical Music . Nice open spaces before the show.

Great place for a concert . Just be prepared to wait for a while to exit the parking garage .

Strathmore . Great acoustics , wonderful programming and FREE PARKING!!!!! Beats going to the Kennedy Center for a concert any day.

You are allowed to bring alcoholic beverages to the free summer concerts outside by the gazeebo.

Lovely time hearing the Messiah, however, it was hot in the top tier with no air circulating- I felt faint-

Come to the Mansion every Friday in the spring for the Friday Night Eclectic series. Great music , and happy hour from 8-9pm.

The dance studios actually belong to CityDance Center at Strathmore--they offer classes , a conservatory program and performances in those studio spaces! Check it out!

Event parking is free at the Grosvenor Metro across the street, and there is a pedestrian walkway.

Great place for BSO and/or Natl Philharmonic . Food prices for dinner are excessive. Eat dinner before coming here

The parking deck is a mess after shows - park in the lot or on the street to speed your departure and save frustration

The Baltimore Symphony performs here, but try to see them at The Meyerhoff concert hall in Baltimore sometime. The acoustics are much better than they are at Strathmore .
