Hands down the best borough zoo..great for little kids and enough variety to keep it interesting for adults. Not crowded , easy parking . Highlights: leopards , snake exhibits , petting zoo , monkeys.

Alan-Arthur Aurelia

Amazing reptile collection. Great snake collection. You can feed the animals and it's nice and small. A perfect way to spend an afternoon. And on Wednesday it's FREE after 2pm.

Home to NYC's only weather-predicting groundhog and one of the most extensive reptile collections in the U.S.! See some of your favorite animals: Otters, Amur Leopards , a red panda , and more!

David Jules

Small but well kept and a good variety. I love to go during the day when it is not crowded and the animals are more active.

It might not be the largest or most exotic zoo around (its nickname is the "biggest little zoo "), but it is acclaimed for its Serpentarium, housing an extensive collection of rattlesnakes.
