I love the templeton trail , it takes me about 2 hours with my dogs to do the whole loop. The trail can get hard but the views are worth it.

The dog park near the Maizeland entrance is pretty terrible. Get some exercise and drive a little further to Yucca Flats area of the park where you can walk your dog off leash .

IDK about offleashing dogs here. Yes its allowed but may not be prudent. Lost of cactus here. I've pulled it from sore paws on several occasions.

Drive slow and be courteous to others using the park . Yucca flats is a good off leash dog area.

Views are AMAZING.

Just another dirt box, no shade, no view . Dog doesn't want to be here, neither does human. No other dogs to play with.
