Absolutely rammed on a Friday evening. Very tough to get through the pub to the bar and order a drink. Teamwork required!

Christine Keeler from the Profumo Affair (which nearly brought down the government) lived in the flat opposite. It's the one with the shepherd plaque on the walk.

The pub 's leather Sofa 's are easier to wipe down and are less sticky than their fabric counterparts

Fine crispy fries , a nice lovely large fish . Had hair in it though.

The fireplace adds a nice touch to this cozy pub .

Needs more variety in ales , those on offer are now ubiquitous (e.g. DoomBar).
