Ya Kun Family Cafe

NEX mall 's eateries (of below S$10 food) are super crowded during weekends peak lunch time; glad I recalled this hidden cafe at far end odd corner of mall ; got to eat in peace & decent vacant seats.

I have always gone for the first combo set and they have never disappointed me. If you order something for bread , I advice you to go here when there's no crowd. You get better toasted bread .

Teh ka tai is out of this world, what a superb combination with thin and crispy kaya toast :)

Located at the corner and the interior is spacious . Can have a quiet time to enjoy the hot drinks. Tea is sedap!!

Kopi That Won't Go Wrong. Favorite place to have kaya toast

Surprisingly, their laksa was pretty good! Yummy!

This place sells other kind of food besides the usual toast & beverages, like Mee Siam , Mee Rebus, etc.

Must be the worse Cheesy French toast I ever had. Not like any of the Ya Kun. Eat at your own risk.

Mee Siam contains tomatoes in it. Weird combo, but taste nice. Abit sour-ish though.

Much more expensive compared to other ya kun outlets.

No aircon here! HOT!

Paper bowl and plastic utensils. Pfft. Not coming back.
