I find that I rarely have to wait if I use the pumps designed for right side gas tanks . The hose reaches no problem.
The hoses were designed to reach either side on purpose. If they wanted you waiting for the pump that matches your side of the car, they wouldn't let you go to any of them.
Why do people know how to pump gas? People come on get real pull up to the pump with your tank on the proper side!
