Volkspark Friedrichshain

Charming big park , my favourite one in Berlin. Nice to walk around, have a picnic , doing some sport or just sit and relax. A lot of events happening here too.

This is one of few parks in Berlin that feels like is a proper park and not just a lawn for beer drinking. It's enjoyable and relaxing. Head north of the park to find nice shops and cozy cafés .

Find the Wishtree : Follow the pathway that leads around the park 's 'barbecueing field ' (Grillwiese) and you'll find the wishtree at the eastern end, just next to a lamppost.

Great 5km run around park , most of which isn't on cement. Also many activities;volleyball , basketball , tennis , soccer , free outdoor rockclimbing facilities available. Many ppl also BBQ during summer

Love it, run there every day. It’s a place where you run in Friedrichshain. Unfortunately it feels like a reservation area. But it’s relatively large so one can vary here and there a bit.

What a wonderful park ! You almost forget the city that surrounds it. It was surprisingly less crowded during the weekend. You can go with a large gang or get lost in the wilderness if you wish to.

Good big park with beautiful fountain , pond , restaurant and open air cinema . A bit crowded on summer, but still amazing place to relax .

Great playgrounds for children, especially the artificial creek is highly recommended.

This is as suprising by day than by night ! It is a beautiful park that offers every kind of nature you need (water, trees , grass, hill , sports ). As soon as you step in you can only be happy.

Huge park with everything an "outdoor-people-heart" could ask for - beach volleyball , plenty of space for any park game, running trails and bbq spots en masse. ????

Most amazing and relaxing park in Berlin. You should enjoy a nice match in the beach volley fields , some tasty grill with friends or just sunbathing on the grass.

Perfect for jogging or walking around, also there you can choose between many different activities to do.. As tennis table, basket, beach volley ..etc.

Came here during the sunset . Climb the hill , it will reward your soul with a poetic scene of Berlin.

It is a huge park to make whatever you want. Some exercise, cycling, grill, picnic with plenty of oxygen and sun. Have fun

WHY THERE: one of the city 's really cozy outdoor places to be, and not too far from the center

Great park , the restaurant there is really good and good prices. Closes early and staf is not too nice but the view is worthy.

Relax 10 minutes from the centre.Great feeling,nice vibes.The oldest park of Berlin with nice architecture and small lakes .

Lovely park . Check out the Märchenbrunnen (fairytale fountain ) or climb to the top of the hill .

Just behind the Spanienkämpferdenkmals (Spanish War Memorial) you can find this very active cruising ground. Many younger types come here looking for fun.
