Get here early! We arrived at 10am and got a perfect parking spot , as well as a awesome spot on the beach ! Also, earlier is cooler, so less chance of a sun burn!!
This beach literally took my breath away it was so stunning. Photos don't capture the full awesomeness of this setting. Make it a must see on your Kauai Beach Bucket List!
Great snorkeling , wonderfully views , fresh fruit , and plenty of space even when the parking lot is jam packed. Also it has bathrooms and lifeguards.
The pod of spinner dolphins tour through here, sea turtles swim near the reef and plenty of fish are around too. Avoid the surfers and do some snorkeling !
October 2015, we had awesome snorkelling on the north side (right side facing the ocean). Do not forget to explore the cave across the street and try the food truck . Bbq pork sandwich and smoothies ..
There is a smaller entrance with a few parking spots about a 1,000ft before the main parking by the cave . Less crowded part of the beach .
Good snorkeling when waves are calm . Get there early and park at Haena Beach . Monk seals sometimes come on shore.
Super calm at the end of august. Our favorite beach to swim and snorkel . Get there early to snag a parking spot .
Amazing snorkeling , saw a sea turtle ! Not a ton of shade, so wear sunblock and don't forget to reapply!
One of the best beaches on the island . Parking can be a challenge, but amazing views worth the effort.
The greatest snorkeling on the Garden Island . Don't forget the sun block. Enter with caution as the currents may be very strong.
Paradise. And alone ... come before 10am as Parking is a small one
Best place in Kauai to snorkel . Be sure to go out to the center where you can watch the sharks going in and out of the tunnels 20 feet down.
Beautiful location, but seemingly impossible to swim at due to the random beach closures. Better to snorkel Anini beach down the road were the lifeguards are less over zealous about perfect conditions
One of the best beaches and snorkeling spots on the island !!
Beautiful beach that was used as the shooting location of Bali Hai in South Pacific.
Go snorkeling ! When we were there, a big beauty of a sea turtle came right up to shore, allowing awesome looks! Just don't touch them--it's illegal.
Great beach for snorkeling ! We saw 2 sea turtles once your past the shallow Coral.
Amazing spot to visit in the winter. Huge swell. Surf breaks on the shore. Picture perfect.
Amazing snorkeling on this huge reef. Arrive early to get parking .
I can see why people call this snorkeling paradise cause as soon as I got in the water I saw a beautiful turtle
we paid $10 to park across the street. this beach is worth it! not too crowded & small waves make it a great first ocean experience for our little one.
Make sure you wear water shoes , or actual shoes on the sand. It gets so ridiculously hot!!!!
Calmer waters for snorkeling on the right with trees to sleep under
Great place to dive and snorkel . The warm shallows are good for the kids, but out at the reef's edge is amazing. 10 to 30 ft. is where all the action is! Highly recommended!!!
Great for snorkeling ! Not too crowded .
The best beach in Kaua’i
Excellent body surfing . Super nice life guards !
Stay out of the water in the winter when big swell arrives unless you know what you are doing with your surfboard.
Turtles ! Love the sand, scenic landscape
Make sure you check out the dry caves on the opposite side of the road . :)
Best snorkeling I've ever experienced. Wow. Watch out for the current though.
If you get here early you can find lots of sea turtles ;-)
The best beach ever - great snorkeling and loads of sea turtles !
Awesome snorkeling , but if your not careful, the current CAN sneak up on you.
Rocky but solid snorkeling areas
Snorkeling was awesome!! We saw a huge turtle and plenty of fish etc.
Great marriage location for 2 of our friends! Beautiful!
🔨 Beach ! Top!
Tons of fish ...and a sea turtle within 15 feet of shore. Awesome snorkeling .
Great snorkeling . Watch out for incoming seals and rainbows
Make sure to have something on your feet...hot hot sand!!
Leave the Monk Seal alone...getting sun time
Plenty of parking past the Tunnel Beach sign...
Parking is tough, 2 spots at 8.3 and 8.6 mile markers
Arguably the best snorkeling on the island .
Awesome snorkeling
Fresh fruit stand
