Andrea Ferreyros

I had the most delicious meal here! I created my own brown rice bowl and added a mix of ahi tuna and salmon . They have a lot complimentary add ons. Get ready to wait bc there's always a lengthy line !

Fee O

Totally worth every penny, you can choose from 2 protein selections with a regular which is more than enough, And endless tasty toppings. Wasabi aoili sauce was great, ponzu as well .

BuzzFeed

You can make your own bowls or sushi burritos , and for those who may not like ahi tuna , there are other proteins — including ahi tuna , salmon , shrimp , scallops , albacore , and even chicken . Read more

Yelimar Rodriguez

Omg I made my poke burrito with ahi tuna , shrimp , cucumber , mango , hijiki, fish roe , cilantro , ginger , and Ponzu . Holy Heavens it was so good!!!

Danley Hu

I make my own bowl because it's free toppings ! So good. It gets busy and there is such limited seating , so if you get food here, be prepared to eat it elsewhere

Michael Kauffman

Fresh and tasty. Skip the burrito (seaweed wrap a bit tough to bite through) and opt for a bowl. Spicy Ahi burrito pictured:

Trending this week is a taste of Hawaii in the concrete jungle. Pokēworks offers the island 's raw fish salad specialty in a variety of combinations. You can also get your poke in burrito form. Read more

2 hour wait. Like most I was forced to reevaluate my life choices in line . Totally worth it. No seating inside, so walk a few blocks to Bryant Park and enjoy that good life decision. No shame in 2nds.

Mai Ta

The salmon and tuna are fresh. Huge selection of toppings, which are also very good. They let you choose between, I think, 6 different sauces so that's always good.

Tom

Not authentic , but fresh and surprisingly delicious. Seaweed was a little tough, bowl over burrito . Worth a short wait (<15min), skip if there's more than 5 people waiting outside.

Fabian Martin

The Seoul poke is very good! Love the kimchi and ginger in it

Eric Tsai

Create your own bowl and get as many mixins, toppings, and crunches as you want. Can be overwhelming but honestly it's hard to go wrong when the fish is this fresh

Amanda Schaefer

It's like chipotle but with sushi ingredients, delicious and filling! Not too pricey either. There's not too many spots to sit inside, so plan to take to go

Lillian Cheung

Beware of long lines but they let you add in as many mix-ons and toppings (get the crunches) that you like!

Mike Seilback

Sushi burrito is what draws people in but the rice bowls and salads are good too. Tuna ,salmon and lots of toppings to choose from.

Jeff Woo

The salmon shiso and umami classic are 2 great options. I prefer the bowl to the burrito , which gets a bit messy.

Jay L

Salmon shiso and tuna bowl were so good, huge portions and lots of tasty add-ons.

Nick Andlinger

Not authentic by any means but the fish was fresh and the poke was delicious. Solid midtown lunch option.

Kevin O'Neill

Come to grips with the need to eat lunch at 11am or 2pm and avoid the long lines because it is good poke .

Ryan Ambs

The amount of choices can be intimidating, but the quality of the ingredients probably means you won't mess it up. The real trick though, will be eating it slowly enough to savor the freshness.

Pretty good poke with make your own bowl options. Good quality fish but the portion sizes are pretty small for the price charged

PureWow

August 17th: Try poke , NYC’s newest food trend, at Pokeworks. It’s kind of like a Hawaiian version of ceviche . Read more

Rebecca Mazza

Worth the 30 minute wait. Fresh ingredients and helpful staff despite the commotion

C Daley

Super fresh, amazing service, delicious tuna umami and salmon bowls. Went back 3 days in a row

Helen Kang

Never had Poké before but it was pretty good! I had the tuna burrito , about $11 totally worth it.

Nancy Lo

Ordered a poke bowl as opposed to the famous poke burrito . It was great but the portions were smaller than I expected.

Twinkle Denoyo

Tiny little spot for reaaally good poke , very affordable too. Loved the spicy ahi tuna

Beth K

Super fresh, yummy and fast! A taste of hawaii. Try the poke burrito , genius idea.

Lillian

Got the Hawaiian classic but asked to mix tuna with salmon . Looking forward to trying more.

Andrew ???? Wong

No "fast food " place is good enough for a 1-hour wait. All that time wasted for a mediocre fish/rice/salad mix served up in Chipotle fashion, not even half as good as real Hawaiian poke . Never again.

Colin Lee

Hawaiian classic . You can customize the order however way you want..limited seating here though (5 seats)

Luke

Fresh and tasty. Go with a game plan and be prepared to wait in line a bit.

Angelina Zeppieri

great poke bowls ! make your own or pick off the delicious menu

Raquelle Jessie

ahi tuna+tobiko+brown rice+sriracha aoli+mango+cucumber+avocado+lotus chips+spicy sriracha + sesame sauce = shangri la

Cynthia Lin

Perfect for lunch ! Salad with Salmon with ponzu sauce

Tea Ho

The bowls are delicious but the lines are always too long because the staff is incredibly disorganized. I shouldn't have to repeat my order to 5 different people in order to get something made.

James

Umami bowl was so good. Ask for a side of Spicy Aioli !

Anthony Chouloute

Get the Hawaiian Classic Bowl if it's your 1st visit.

Sharon Tsao

Food is really good! But they need to work on their operations...

Hank

In deconstructing poke , the authenticity is gone. Now anyone can do it "subway" style. Still.. Better than no poke .

Julie

Simply delicious and friendly staff . Worth the wait in line !

Nitzan B

Huge line at lunch time. Pick ups are available only if you order 24 hours in advance!

Jackie Lho

Ridiculously long line to get some very average poke . I wanted to try it based on all the hype, but Sons of Thunder is far superior, cleaner, and worth your time.

Datrianna Meeks

Make your own bowl or burrito ! Get all the mix-ins

Matthew Huie

Not bad for Subway/Chipotle-style poke !  The umami classic is a safe choice.

JT Reddick

CO treated Tuna , unfresh Salmon , fake food toppings like crab meat and green seaweed salad ........... Avoid for your health.

Monica King

Rice was undercooked... Otherwise it was great to finally have some poké in NYC!

Mat Brown

Come for the unnecessarily customizable poké ; stay because you’re still waiting on line .

Rebecca Chadwick

Long line , but very worth it. Make your own bowl !

ginnnnnnny ????

Love the burrito
