This is the After 2:00 p.m. (Rush Hour / Pau Hana or "finish work or jobs") crowd. It is 4 p.m. somewhere.. A time for Busy Families to get together and Shop; then, eat a giant pizza pie outside.

Food & drink samples (inside), 25 cents water (a vending machine, past the cashiers area - by the restrooms ); $1.50 Hot Dog (regular beef or spicy Polish) drink combo, outside at the concession stand.

If you get hungry while shopping (and the indoor samples aren't enough), their outdoor snack bar has inexpensive food: pizza slices , hot dogs , soft serve ice cream , and of course, the chicken bake !

I always buy my ribeye steaks here. Don't bother with the premium steaks in the blue tray. Just pick out well marbled regular steak . It will save you lots of money.

Costco produce is cheap , seasonal and good quality. Pick up a tray of green apples and a pack of sparkling cider for this Green Apple and Sparkling Cider Sorbet . An inexpensive yet elegant dessert .

Sure, it may be crowded all the time. But that speaks volumes. Go in and get the stuff you need and want in copious quantities.

Best time for free samples is afternoon, after shopping get a Hot Dog and or slice of pizza . Cheapest lunch around

Grab the roasted chicken and lie it down on some pre made spinach salad and you got yourself fine dining quality items. Perfect for a high quality cheap dinner . Serves about 4

Skip Hilo Hattie's. If you're visiting, this is the place to stock up on macadamia nuts , Kona coffee and cotton Hawaiian shirts .

Great place to buy everything you need to cook ☺ plus get some hotdog combo for your snack before shopping!

Their pharmacy is generally less expensive (even after your insurance kicks in) so they're worth a try.

Great place to pick up meats and cheese and wine

If you are a member, they provide the best deal on gas for your personal or rental car . Check out gasbuddy.com for updates. I saved $.40/compared to other stations. Worth the drive.

If you're a fan of Hawaii chocolate , buy them here. Beware, parking is difficult

Their large pizza is a bargain!! Less than $11 for their large at 16".

I honestly come here for the hot dogs up front more then anything else.

Great place to upgrade your phone with Sprint!

Avoid crazy shoppers, or as I like to call them, everyone that shops at Costco. They will bump you/get in your space/run you over.

Bring your parka if u plan to enter the fresh produce area. Brrr!

Pick up a cart in the parking lot and give it a test drive. If it's junk you can pick up another cart at the door.

If you're buying a whole pizza , they allow you to go halves on the toppings. Just let 'em know. ;-)

Poke is fresh. Poke bowl is a must!

Parking may be overwhelming but lots of registers so lines are fast. go early as it opens at 10.

AND DON'T MISS THE FRESH POKE EITHER!!

Close to the airport so you can gas up the rental car and save about 0.30/gal.

This is the busiest Costco I've ever been to. Apparently, it's the busiest in their system.

Packed even at 1 pm. Park further away and forget about fighting for parking .

If you do a phone order, you still need to stand in the ridiculously long lines to pay. NEVER GO TO THE PICK-UP LINE OR YOU'LL BE WASTING YOUR TIME. There should be a different line for phone orders.

Don't come on a Saturday afternoon its crazy there was a line to leave.
