The Book Café

This is a very hip and trendy cafe on River Valley Close area. I found the service good as well as the food. A great selection of food and drinks on offer with reasonable prices. Below's salmon ceasar

Tried the Eggs Benedict and pan fried cod fish dinner set. One of the poached eggs is a little bit overdone. Cosy place for you to chill over some magazines and books . GREAT SERVICE too!! =)

Very chill to work (everyone does), you can either work inside, on the lazy couches , surrounded by books or at the tables or on the terrace . Good all day breakfast and very good coffees . Free Wi-Fi.

Definitely came here for the atmosphere.The coffee was all right but it's a great place to study or get work done.They have a wonderful reading selection and the staff members are very friendly .

One of the places to be 'lost in time' for bookworms and coffee lovers in Singapore! I love the coffee , lovely service, sofas , books and the cakes - in that order! Price is okay for a frequenter.

Cozy , quite small though. Wi fi , lots of books and magazines and some children playing around. Bring your laptop, get a latte and feel like you are at the communal kitchen struggling with your essay.

One of my favorite places when I travel to singapore. The staff is friendly and competent. The food is suprisingly good. There are plugs everywhere, one can spend whole afternoon catching up on emails

Weekend special lemon pine nut pie is yum. As others commented the staff is super friendly and makes you feel comfortable working here for hours. Wifi + sofa + good food make a productive afternoon~

They use real honey instead of the commercial sugar syrup , awesomely refreshing to order an iced honey lemon on a hot day and hazelnut chocolate cake is delicious but not overly sweet

Super friendly staff actually encourage you to set up camp with your laptop by showing you the power points! Great place to work or chill as long as you want. And the lemon pinenut pie is awesome!

Best place to sit outside and work. The Food is okay. Would recommend the smoked turkey sandwich and the salmon breakfast !

Service is a bit chaotic but the coffee is great and the whole place has a great atmosphere. Don't order fresh juice , it comes in a small glass and not the best either. Food is fine, good brunch place

You can spend an entire afternoon with friends here - coffee and food is good. For tourists , they offer free WiFi here.

Ask questions- for example: the breakfast set strictly ends after 11:30 AM BUT you can ask for the all day breakfast . They won't suggest it otherwise. :p

Cute location and has wifi , but the food and drinks are not amazing. The soy latte is my go-to drink here.

The dinner set comes with choice of full serving of soup of yr choice, mains plus dessert of the day with drinks. Quite a good deal

If you love the combination of a good book with a fresh pot of tea like me, don't forget to try Thai Lemongrass & Ginger tea . Sheer pleasure for your body & soul.

Asked for a piccolo but nay, no can do. So went for a flat white instead. To my surprise, a small cup of delicious warm cuppa came. U've got urself a returning customer fo' shizzle.

Be aware it's crowded Sunday afternoon, and there is a smoking area if you don't want to sit in accidentally. The flat white is good.

Well ..it is a kind of living room feeling so kind of a place to relax ...that's fine..only..why in empty cafe getting the order takes 30min...nobody knows

Lots of power sockets and comfy sofas . Dim lighting . Somewhat annoying and inconsistent music . And lots of books and magazines to browse. Heard the food's so-so but smells good from where I was.
