Belmont Lake State Park

The park has bbq/seating areas, a playground and a lake . You can go canoeing or paddling for 20$ (4 persons/2 hours). Parking is for 8$. The park and playground are well-kept but the bathrooms aren’t.

I’m not a fan of dog parks . So as an alternative place to take your dogs to get some exercise is great. I usually split my time here and a few place that has trails to walk my food is great.

Its beautiful here, definitely can get crowded and overwhelming with so many people on the fields or picnic area ... the trails are mostly clear and easy to navigate (big circle around the lake )!!

Dogs allowed on undeveloped trail areas only, starting at northeast corner of parking lot and ending near maintenance buildings.

beautiful park , just do not go by the tunnels and waterfalls alone. was harassed and got my phone stolen last summer, only me and my friend there.

Paddleboats seat four and are 20 per hour plus a 20 dollar deposit. BBQ pits, picnic tables , biking , running, kiddy playground , working bathrooms .

Trails are great for running walking jogging n people actually have dogs on leashes.

If u want to ride the paddle boats on a Sunday be sure to do so before 4pm. I made that mistake :(

go with a buddy or an adult!!!! was mugged there when i was 14. i dont advise hanging out with another young girl alone.

You definitely need to go boating on the lake : paddleboating, row boating , etc. It is SO relaxing.

The lake and its surrounding trees truly bring you back to nature... Bike riding is enjoyable there too... Picnic .. Why not?
