Blues City Cafe

Blue City Cafe was so amazing that I ate there twice in 24 hours . The grilled shrimp was great. The ribs were unquestionably the best I have ever had. They literally fell off the bone! Go there!

Perfectly tender, juicy, flavourful rib with just perfect amount of fat on meat. Half rack or rib was just right amount of food for me. When all other BBQ joints are closed, this is the place to go!

Awesome vibe, we were there Sunday night and they had two MEGA cool bands playing. Local fresh draft beers and the best Rib-Rack I’ve had in my life (no exaggeration) just awesome.

Man oh man nothing like stopping in Memphis in the middle of the night and getting to eat here, do NOT miss the gumbo cheese fries and the ribs , too good

Omg!!! Make sure to get the gumbo cheese fries . The size will overwhelm you, but they are so delicious!! Stuffed mushrooms , garlic shrimp...everything is fantastic! Our server Sheena was the best!

Earl the Pearl was playing tonight! Doesn’t get any better than that if you’re looking for blues music ! Not a lot of vocals but music is incredible! Also best place for sweet spicy ribs .

I don't remember what it's called on the menu. Steak fries with melted cheese and smothered with their wonderful gumbo . When the waitress said "it's a big ass plate", she wasn't kidding. Good stuff!

Good option for late night food. The best ribs on Beale, but I would go with the chili and tamales . Some of the best in Mem. Also the stuffed mushrooms & catfish are delicious.

This place is incredible. Get the Gumbo (It's spicy and amazing). The catfish is delicious also. Wash it down with a Ghost River Golden Ale .

Get in line before it wraps around the building! Great BBQ restaurant that anchors one of the corners of the World Famous Beale St. Don't forget to try the tamales !

If you aren't up for much exploring and want to stick to Beale Street for the night this is a great place for ribs and the catfish is spectacular.

Ribs are amazing! The tamales are an ocean of grease- avoid for the sake of your heart. Fries are better with the table side Blues City Cafe seasoning.

Just had the sausage and cheese appetiser (nothing amazing) and the gumbo . What annoyed me is that I was given the check before I ever had a chance to order dessert.Seriously? Way to upsell, girl!!
