The live music was great and service was friendly . I tried the salted fried shrimps and they were pretty good. Try the piña colada in the take home coconut !

Sensational sunsets , creative cocktails , fun atmosphere and yummy food! Loved it so much I had my wedding reception in the Lava Tube room! ????

We loved the truffled edamame , pulled pork quesadillas , ribs , nut crusted baked fish and smoked meats . And of course, the cocktails ! Plus, the view is hard to beat.

Try the Kalbi Beef Gyoza crispy beef dumplings . They are pretty good. Don't forget to order a Surf Mai Tai - you get to keep the Tiki mug as a souvenir.

The menu is familiar and creative at the same time. We have been through most items and it is all excellent. The portions are large and as a couple we often share.

Live music just about every night. Bar seating is first come first serve. Food comes out very quick. Not the best or most authentic but good for a drink and a simple bite.

Good Thai Shrimp with noodles . Not too spicy . Coconut Shrimp appetizer also good. We just arrived from Minneapolis and came here first- close to hotel .

Mama's Thai chicken and green papaya chop salad is literally the most delicious summer salad I've EVER eaten. A must have for anyone!

Cheesy, hell yes. Tiki bar on the tourist strip at a hotel . But nice view if you score a table at the railing, good cocktails , and loved their poke . When in Rome . . .

Great beer list - order anything local. The Mac crusted Mahi Mahi was amazing. Loads of seasonal and local produce .

The 1944 Mai Tai 's are no joke. Didnt get 1/3 way through the 2nd before the party started.

Nice spot to sit & relax, catch the sunset & enjoy some drinks. Kind of expensive . Had dinner for two & spent $80. Had an appetizer , a couple beers & some entrees

The 1944 mia Tia rocks, and is well worth the visit. Also in the winter months this is a perfect place to watch the sun set.

Mai Tais , swordfish , and watching the sunset from here is a great way to start your trip.

Happy Hour EVERYDAY from 2-5 p.m. $2.50 draft beers and $3-$5 cocktails . Plus live music every night. Great place to kick back and relax and watch the surf roll in.

There's a very high-pitched squeaky noise coming from this building, and we could hear it while we were dining. Food was quite good, price was a little high, but experience was marred by the noise!

My favorite place for live music and a great sunset ! Plus, the food and service are fantastic.

The staff are friendly , efficient and welcoming. The food is excellent.

They had very good appetizers and service here with a nice view and music . Definetly worth a stop.

Get the 1944 Mai Tai ! It's the best in Waikiki. They no offer full menu at the bar..they food is great, especially the Mahi .

Try the Ahi Tartar - Ahi tartar , avocado , Hawaiian Chili Harrisa, quail egg & crostini .

The mahi mahi is an excellent option, the salmon is very good, the calamry delicious and the filet mignon great... Great service from Nikki, ask for her.

Coconut shrimp ! Tropical cocktails ! It's always so lively here, love it!

Also don't forget to try the burger with taro bun !!! Dam !

The salmon melted in my mouth and whatever the hell drink I got made me tipsy enough to forget the name.

Great food/drinks and it's within body dumping distance to the ocean win win bruddah!

I expected a tourist trap and was surprised to receive damn good food and drinks. This place is worth a repeat visit!

Get the taro bread to add a slice of heaven to your heaven.

Looking for good drink? Try "the monkey"! Wicked good so don't worry about it being girlie. It's worth it.

Sit outside with the cheaper menu and the view of the ocean.
