Service is, of course, impeccable. Views are amazing. For some childlike fun get a s'mores kit. The marshmallows are divine. Still have a sweet tooth? Order the brown butter ice cream . Life changing!
Wonderful views , right on the ocean, beautiful sunsets and evening fires. Nice rooms and attentive service . A slice of heaven on earth. Enjoyed the local wine collections and beds were comfortable .
They sell cigars at the bar . It is cheaper to visit Bay Books in town though and buy some there. Pick up s'mores stuff at Safeway and you will make lots of friends at the fire pits !
Pumpkins are not only a tasty treat;they also nourish the skin. The Spa offers a Pumpkin Facial ; utilizing mask which is high in beta carotene, vitamins A&C,leaving the skin smooth,plump and hydrated.
Don't miss the painted pony as you arrive to Half Moon Bay. Every season it gets a new design and welcome guests to the city . You can even submit your own design for the horse.
On the weekend, book a Guided Segway Tour that travels along the Coastal Trail which runs parallel to the Pacific Ocean and offers sweeping views of the surf and Northern California coast.
Amazing views of the beach . There are a few parking spots about a 15 minute walk away (along the golf course ). Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in Half Moon Bay for a day trip

Amazing place. The location and service was fantastic. If you can afford it it's a must go to spot. Get a room with a private fire pit ! Consider staying for more than just 1 day.

When staying at a hotel , call down to the operator or front desk as early as possible on the morning of your check-out day for a late check out. You might get to extend by 30 min to 2 hours.

Scrooge-y on validating valet parking . While Navio lunch , brunch (one of most expensive in whole Bay area) or dinner covers the whole thing, having breakfast will only cover half, ie, still pay 10 USD
Escape the city & sip wine by the fire pit w/ ocean views . Tell the gate attendant you're there for the coastal access & save yourself the $20 valet fee.

The Ritz usually charges $10 for parking on weekends. Occasionally they charge $20. Get your ticket validated if you eat a meal inside. If you have an expensive car they often will park it free.

Thursday night jazz & inexpensive dinners in the Conservatory are great for locals. Valet parking is free with validation from the restaurant .
Not very great for tourists for stopping by. No where to park and get a view ! But if you have a wedding or stay here, will be amazing.
Good place to take short walk, seeing great ocean beach and sun moving.. take panorama shot for the memory..:)
The resort has dog friendly rooms but bring your own dog bed if you have a regular size dog.
Last Thursday of the month, they have a fantastic Yappy Hour for your dog :)

The men's (and presumably the ladies') locker rooms are a great place to get a soak and unwind in the sauna . Hot tub , jump in the cold soak, then 15 minutes in the steam room . Heavenly.
If you are not a hotel guest you can still get wifi free. When it asks for your name you can type in any name and you will be granted access.
Make sure to check out the hot chocolate bar outside at night! Tons of toppings available!

At 4 pm the chocolate bar opens. Take a dark hot chocolate and enjoy the ocean view from the terrace

Never pick up any golf balls you find. You're actually on a golf course and will piss off the golfers if you do.
Allergy people can relax. Once your condition is on your Guest Profile, the Ritz remembers this information at all locations. Whew!
The sunsets are to die for. Fire pits to keep you warm and the most cozy beds allowed south of heaven.
