There is another ice cream place a couple miles north on Pearl Road across from Saint Ambrose school - Honey Hut. The waits at DQ are usually when kid functions (baseball , soccer , etc.) occur.
There is usually a wait, even in the winter. So worth it though. Awesome ice cream and so many options.
If you only have a short time to live, come to the drive thru because the wait feels like an eternity.
Why do I always have to pull forward and wait for my order? No matter the time of day, size of the order, or line of cars waiting. I have never received my food thru the window.
