Friendly , reasonable "old school" supper club. We had the chicken dinner on the Tuesday/Thursday special and it was great - moist, tender meat in a crispy , flavorful coating.
Try the fishfry, it's fantastic! They don't take reservations and there is often a wait so plan to have a drink or three at the bar first. It's well worth it!
Went on a Friday at about 5:45 pm had about an hour and a half wait. But the fish fry was excellent. Will return.
The calamari is delicious. And if you get the oysters in season, very good.

I'm a little underwhelmed. The French Onion soup was warm, not hot and lacking flavor. My rare to medium rare steak was medium to well and lacking flavor. Saved by onions and mushrooms . Disappointed.

The fish fry was awful. Rye bread was tasteless, the slaw and tartar sauce was already on the table, no potato pancakes .. in a word? Gross. I've had better fish frys at dive bars .

My absolute favorite go to place for comfort food. The beef brisket is so tender and the America's Cut of pork melts in your mouth. I always start with sheddar melts and a cup of potatoe soup! - Kendall
