James Bond is seen being driven over Ponte 25 de Abril by Draco's henchmen near the beginning of On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969) and again after his wedding at the end of the film .

Or you can call it Salazar Bridge ,it's often compared with Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco U.S , but ....it's more than a simple bridge ....it's a real slight of Lisabona

Construída em 1966, sendo a maior ponte persil do mundo fora dos EUA, aquando da construção . Foi dos tempos em que as obras publicas não custavam mais que o previsto.

Com fundações de 79 metros abaixo da superfície no leito do rio , é a ponte mais profunda do mundo. Foi inaugurado em 1966 e antes de disso, o única forma para atravessar o rio era com um ferry.
