Not your typical greasy Beißl - old fashioned Austrian favorites with excellent fresh bio/local ingredients and careful preparation. Delightful wine selections .
Beautiful atmosphere and a good selection of food. I had the pumpkin for main and pumpkin pudding for dessert - both great. It does get busy in the early evening so maybe best to book a reservation .
Good food, decently priced. The schnitzel is for one but comes with two pieces of meat. You can ask for a smaller portion! Good for solo diners - plenty of people working away on iPads or reading.
Here is a really nice place with a great garden ! We wanted to try some Traditional Viennese food and so ordered the beef goulash and the pasta . Both were tasty and recommended!

2pm on a Weekday is pretty empty. You won't be held up by a queue. They're pretty baby-friendly too. Changing table in the ladies, and they don't care if you're breast-feeding at the table.

Very big portions . The Tafelspitz was 3 big slices, lots of fresh veg and an entire pan of rösti , plus 2 generous cups of sauces.
