We had the Swedish steak tartare with French fries and the vegetarian version on the classic Swedish potato dumplings . Best food we had in Stockholm. Very friendly service !
Sunday opens only for dinner at 5. Got meatballs and salmon . The bread and potatoes are very fulfilling! Also, white asparagus soup with cheese toast is amazing!
We made a reservation for four, as we were told it gets crowded on thte weekends. Great Swedish meetballs, fresh Salmon and tasty Deer. Average service, but cool authentic ambience.
Don't miss the brunch on weekends. Generous buffet of Swedish classics, meat and fish , cheese and desserts . Coffee is included, other drinks are not.
If you’re a large group looking for a rollicking night out at one of Stockholm’s oldest beer halls, look no further than Kvarnen. There’s even a lively nightclub in the basement ! Read more
A typical Scandinavian restaurant ,great place and great food.Rich brunch until 4 pm on weekends, all is included excepts for wines and beers .Delicious sweets and glögg, too!
Classic swedish "beer hall " kind of place, i e authentic , somewhat rustic look and feel. Friendly staff , good food with a nordic touch. An all around good place.
Kvarnen is an iconic restaurant with Swedish classic dishes and good variety of beers . The atmosphere is amazing which takes you back 100 years.
Really good fit a group. Good food (reindeer stew was great), very accommodating for kids, good beer . Great way to end an evening
Classic swedish restaurant in the heart of Södermalm. Traditional swedish dishes. Friendly service and dishes with good quality.
Kvarnen meatball special: Thoroughly enjoyed my Swedish meatball dish, complete with lingonberry sauce. Saw locals enjoying d rest of d items fr d menu (in Swedish)
Awesome food here at reasonable prices. Try the mixed seafood starters. As main courses try the great fish dishes or simply the best köttbullar.
A lot of different beers . Very nice atmosphere and during the weekend you can party until late.
I had the oven baked salmon : Five stars, absolutely . Also, they've made the coat-checking (and 20kr) mandatory-- which might be understandable considering the tight space in the restaurant section
Charming restaurant delivering traditional Scandinavian food, a must see if you're traveling in Stockholm!
Good brunch , tasty food, large portions . Great value for money . An open buffet style , so try everything!!!!!
Great menus! If you want to try Swedish traditional foods , it's a good deal . But the little fee to pay to the coat guy was a little surprising. Maybe it's normal in Sweden.
Autentic Swedish beer hall with classic food. Nice brunch during the weekends.
Everything is good, except for the obligatory cloakroom that they charge 30 sek. They have a lot of hinges inside, i didn't get the point.
Great place, great lunch (meatballs ). Best meal I had in Stockholm, and it's not expensive ! No jacket check.
Authentic Stockholm beer hall with quite good food.
Open until late in the weekends, it's a good option to end the evening.
Solid Swedish husmanskost. Good option for lunch .
Decent food, and an good beer selection , go to this place to experience a traditional beer hall.
Nice restaurant and good food. Not very expensive . The only bad thing is that you have to pay the cloakroom with cash.
Perfect place to meet locale, walk to the back of the etablissement.
Very delicious lunch and Bread . We liked ist a lot
Nice Swedish brunch buffet on weekends.
Very interesting disco pub in Söder. Good beer
Great brunch on sundays!
Free entrance, but this is not one of the best Stockholm clubs. Credit card payments are not acceptable.
Lunch is great but they force you to check jacket for 30sek. Starts off with a bad vibe when u do shit like that.
Great food! I still have dreams about it... Usually crowded , though :/
You have to give them your jacket , that's 30:- extra... Bummer!
The food was fine, had a shrimp sandwich but the staff are not attentive and flat out ignored me and served others before me. I would not go again because of that. Not one friendly smile. It was empty
Weird music , mostly for ages above 30s , but the basement has a nice decoration
Try to order the reindeer ahead of time. It's usually in short supply
Good food, friendly staff .
Definitely Best seafood stew in Stockholm
Good for groups .
One of the must visit places in Södermalm
Very cool place. Very terrible food though
Great lunch . The seafood stew was excellent, and the meat balls looked fantastic.
There's still something off, though: the toilets are public toilet quality and the staff isnt nice at all
ZUPAH!!! I must say, ahhhhh this makes me wanna move back to Stockholm
The Biff Rydberg is just awesome.
Great brunch and cold Hof's.
Food is good, service is bad. Beer is bad as well . I'd avoid this place if I were you.
Expensive !!
Grym brunch
Schweinhaxe, it's a plate for two and at a very honest price. Great spot! - Raphael Cantafaro
Best meal in Stockholm! Fabulous service, excellent wine, delicious dinner, and conveniently located directly next to Odenplan T-bana. Certainly make the trip here! - Renee T
Cracking cocktails but make sure you stay for dinner too - fantastic steak, calamari. - Mark Makin
