Very likely the best restaurant in London right now due to a combination of vibe and delicious food prepared with fresh ingredients by the most crazy chef on the planet. Get a table at the counter.
Sit at the bar to enjoy a view of the vibrant activity behind the counter. Food is excellent. Friendly , attentive, and super efficient service . The 'drunken botanist' is a mean negroni .
Amazing food, service and vibe. Interesting menu with dishes full of flavour. The deconstructed kebab is amazing, so is the salmon salad . Staff very attending and good mix of diners. 5/5 stars.
Everything was delicious, specially the burnt courgette tzatziki , the octo-hummous and the josperised aubergine . The only downside is that it gets a bit smoky inside due to the open kitchen .
Great, unique & extraordinary dining experience .. You cannot go wrong with their menu .. I’d recommend Kubaneh , Josperised Aubergine & The Spicy Experience .. Don’t miss their homemade Pita bread !!
Kubaneh with dips (Muhammara, Babaganoush ), octopus . Polenta is a must! Order it. Portions not huge. To see the action and chat, sit at the bar . It’s NOT quiet . Walk in for 2 usually possible.
Duck was amazing! All food is very tasty! Portions in a smaller side, hence a tad pricey . Great treat! Staff is attentive and friendly . Especially the chef when sitting by the food counter.
A delicious experience. Portions are so tasty and also small (more tapas style ) that you feel like ordering the menu. Deconstructed kebab was delicious as well as the tagliatelle . Good Israeli wines
The staff is lovely, the whole dining at the kitchen bar was a joy. I have never had a polenta as creamy and delicious as this one!
One of London's top restaurants , more casual than fancy . All dishes had a range of flavours. Highlights: polenta , pork belly tagine , octopus . Dessert not too sweet. Ask for Turkish coffee sweetened.
Smaller than the original one in Jerusalem, but the quality is just as good. Small sharing plates. Try Octo-hummous, beef tataki , butternut squash risotto , kubaneh , pork-belly. Polenta is a must!
Tzatziki was amazing and the pita was pretty much a baked cloud and delicious. The seared scallops are a must. Overall the service is excellent and makes for an amazing dining experience.
Great place! Ambiance is terrific and good is better. Octopus is crunchy, but tender, very tasty. Polenta is also good. The deconstructed kebab is ok, but misses some freshness to my taste
If you like an interesting take on middle eastern food and specialty cocktail/mocktails head here. Friendly service . Gets really crowded so reservations recommended.
Great experience. A fine dining experience without the price tag. Staff were super friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. Every dish just got better. Highly recommend making a booking .
I can’t seem to find just one favourite dish here, as they are all excellent. A bit pricey however definitely love every penny you spent.
Don't be put off by sitting at the bar , it's by far the best way to experience The Palomar. Oh, and be sure to get the bread to start, and the polenta side.
Excellent food - tried the octopus and aubergine , very very good! Will certainly return to try something else.
Excellent restaurant . Middle East cuisine taken to another level. Adorable staff . Lovely design. Super hard to book . If you live in London, you must try.
Excellent food. Tried the polenta , fried chicken , salmon tartare , spring salad and the octopus polpi. Everything was delicious. Wine selection was average, but fair pricing .
Very nice food and great for sharing but I suggest only getting one meat dish as they're very intensely flavoured and heavy
If you don't book , count a 1 or 1.5 hour wait. Polenta , octo-hummus and kubaneh were amazing. Jerusalem mess for dessert is a must!
Loved the food as always including scallops , polenta , falafel . Service a bit spotty and more rushed than usual. Probably will move this to pre theatre option at counter vs leisurely dinner option.
We came on their opening Saturday and I was probably the best meal out we've ever had. Simply brilliant, buzzy and tasty
Amazing food, tried 10 menu itens and all were tasty! The Cauliflower steak and Seared Scallops are to die for!
Just go and eat everything. It is packed but servers are super nice and very well versed in all the great eats.
Loved the aubergine dish so much flavour! Actually everything was really well done. Going to have to go get some more. Great for sharing
Absolutely delicious food. Fusion cooking style with high care of details and lots of originality. Excellent service and very charming environment.
Cool vibe and decor. All the food was excellent especially the deconstructed kebab
Full of flavour! Great service, fresh oysters and scallops and the best flavours I've had in a while!
And then a pork belly tagine , really piggy, truly barnyardy, that was as effective a reminder that this place is not kosher as the octopus tentacles had been a couple of rounds before. Read more
Burnt courgette tzatziki , octo- hummus , and oh my god the deconstructed kebab . Sit at the bar .
Exceptional 5/5 Take the Octopus and Scallops and for dessert Malabi. Very nice staff in kitchen
Great healthy food and lively atmosphere . Service was attentive and cool. I prefer to sit at the bar rather than on the tables.
Great food. Check the Jerusalem liver or Tel aviv mix. For starters take falafel and Pita .
Trendy middle eastern eatery and i particularly like the black tahini dip
The atmosphere is this place is incredible. Easily one of my favourite bar restaurants .
Trendy . Intimate. Busy. Noisy . Very good food. Bread , meze , octopus (wonderful), revisioned kebabs ... All good
Great. Middle Eastern inspired food. Amazing flavours. Diverse textures. Great vibe and energy.
Deserving of the endless, often insufferable praise. The best Israeli food outside of Machne Yehuda market .
The duck and seafood was incredible. I do not recommend the beef and lamb mince .
Tasty. Fantastic bar scene even when dining alone. Taramasalata ????. Becoming a classic London restaurant
Try everything! Really small tapas style dishes. £80 for two for lunch with a glass of prosecco each.
Share it all - it's well worth it because most of the dishes are top notch. And quite filling.
Polenta is Amazing! Also the oxtail . Portions aren't the largest so over order!
Polenta tastes great and it's more or less their signature dish. Kubenia and Sweetbread Bourekas where also quite good, latter being quite greasy though.
Amazing, try everything. Sit at the bar as the chefs are really a fun crowd to watch
Cozy place... Open kitchen ... Friendly staff ... amazing food... What more can you ask for!!!
Polenta is truffley goodness, and those pita breads are like little clouds. Do not sleep on the octo hummus !
Very good food and great ambiance as well . Gets very crowded , but the menu is delicious!!
Very good food. We had the aubergine, very tasty! The lamb was really good too! Nice place as well. - Carine Spira
Be sure to book in advance! Great Middle Eastern restaurant! Everything was amazing, particularly the octopus. Recommend the all you can eat tasting menu. - Jason Quarisa
The creative combination of Mediterranean flavours is amazing. Booking required for Thursdays - Theofanis Exadaktylos
Always brilliant and open late. Their seasonal flavours ensure ice cream is a must all year round. - Betony Kelly
History has been made here!! You must visit Piccadily Circus. Lovely weather, very social spot with nice selection of Cafés - Ahmed Abdullah
Going for afternoon tea is a little more affordable but you still get to check out the cool space! Would recommend! - Vicky
