The best measure of a good pub is whether or not it has board games . This one also has fantastic food, a great selection of wine and (I'm told) brilliant beer . I ate a phenomenal stuffed sweet potato .

Probably one of the best address in the vauxhall/oval area. At the back you will find a great garden , on Sunday they serve amazing raost. The food is much better than pub average. Check for barbecue .

Have ventured back as thought of nice roast on a cold day was too irresistible. Found staff to be super helpful and friendly - maybe a change of management? Just steer the hell clear of quiz night ;)

The beer garden is hidden away a bit but is well worth a visit.

Pub quiz on Tuesday night is great fun. Cheap and good variety of questions.

Book a table in advance, especially if you want to sit in the garden in summer.

In summer, the beer garden at the back is great to chill in and watch the world go by!

more worried about making money than looking after the locals.plus had v bad experience on quiz night with aggressive quizmaster demanding money from us we'd paid already. avoid.

The Sunday roast is massively overpriced - go to Dean Street Townhouse instead. Nice enough venue and staff , slightly grubby toilets .
