It's always great to come relax with your friends or families. There's the huge rope pyramid to climb or build sand castles . There's also a play area under shades for the toddlers.
The vastness of this place was what I enjoyed the most. I became thoroughly lost in its beauty until a local led me out while telling me about the history of the area and the recent reclamation.
Excellent place to take the kids, big playground and oval for them to run around and a decent amount of shade
If hungry, there's a few eatery place at the park but quote pricey . Better to bring your own food as you may not be allowed to have BBQ here
Nice place for an afternoon stroll by the lake
Start at Rhodes and cycle all the way through to Newington Armory
