Combination of an amusement park , zoo , activity zone and aquarium . Our 3year old loved it, which in the end is what matters. Two days was plenty of time for exploring everything.
Kids eat free after 3pm at a number of restaurants . Please note: Only free when purchasing an adult meal, though it's still good value especially in the all you can eat Pizza and Pasta buffet .
Nice park , gathering animals and safari with theme playing and adventure. Make sure to to buy a fast track tickets for all games, otherwise will be useless.
I really like it. We had so much fun. We play together. recommend please for all family with all ages of kids. I love how they combine the Zoo with the Theme park .
Use your annual pass and then get fast passes to skip the queues and make the most of your day. Great for 9-10 year olds as only a couple of rides which need height above 140cm.
Great rides, aimed at younger children but I found it fun too. The 'zufari '& whole animal section was superb. Food available in park is satisfactory but not great. The hotels are good.
New Dreamworks penguin show is so much better than last years. Some of the rides are starting to show their age.lots of rides for small kids
Free tea , coffee or hot chocolate after 3pm for Merlin Annual Pass holders . A lifesaver in this cold weather and it's subject to fair use which means more than one ;)
Closed suprisingly early, even for a sunday, so make sure you get there first thing. Good few hours had though, and plenty to see.
Families - go to Adventure Services to get a parent swap card AND get kids measured. They give them a wrist band so you don't have to keep getting measured
It is good for kids 6-10 year old. We came during a weekday and their were no queue at all. I am not sure it is worth queueing for any of the rides, especially if they are 60-75 minutes long
Get there before opening if you have to queue. In the holidays the traffic builds early. Better to go on rainy days. Head for the bigger rides first do everything else later.
????????????Good place for adult and children.
Use the 2 for 1 discount from the leaflet that you can get at train stations , save money!!
Amazing day out - go at half term and you will wait a MINIMUM of 75 minutes PER ride
Use the maps to decide where you want to go. To actually find anything follow the signs. Toilets best found by asking staff
Good day out, get a parent pass from Assisted Services if you have small kids so that only one parent has to que for the height restricted rides then the other parent goes straight on via the exit :-)
Chessington have a Rainy Day Guarantee in place so you don't miss out if you have bad weather when you visit! Read more
I made a mistake by going on a saturday because its always soooo busy so next time say yess!! to weekdays ..
I went with my 6 year old son. Although half the park is good for that age the other half is not. Would be nice if they had some play areas for the younger kids like Legoland.
Staying at the new Azteca Hotel , good food and great atmosphere.
Great day out for those with kids under 10
Great day out not too far from London
Vampire and bubbleworks are the best rides by far
Good for family with Young kids ????????
Not really great for families with the youngest child about 12/13, most of the rides are tame and quite short !
The refill drink for £7 is great value
If you get the "annual" drink offer, it only lasts until the end of the year, so be careful
Chessington World of Queueing.
Only one till open at the entrance then only one gate open to get in or out, it like they can't function here without making people queue !!!
Remember coming here on a school trip back in the days, used to love it. Now I think its shite.
If you have a child under 1 metre, go onto chessington website & print out a parent & toddler voucher . Only £18 & still loads to see & do.
Buy a bounce back ticket while you are in the park - makes your next visit much cheaper
It's just 'zoo days' until March 2013 as the theme park season doesn't start until then. Don't bother coming until the rides open in March, the zoo is shit and there's nothing to do.
a view from the @SkyRide ???????? la tnsonhaa !!
Merlin pass holders get a free hot drink at 3pm
Head to Xtra Adventures for Fastrack, Animal Feeding and Behind The Scenes tours !!
The Zufari is a must ;-)
lots to do and see
Get the free refills for the day cup for only 3£!!!!!!!!
They try to extort money from you at every turn. Icing on the cake was cash machines that charge £1.60 per withdrawal.
Use your annual pass to get discount on food and drink... think its 25%.
Small zoo , aquariums and attractions , what helse?
no many games for adult I don't recommend it
If you don't have car, take bus from station!!
Ripoff, long waiting hours... Dont go on bank holiday...
Could really do with a sign before you pay saying half the stuff is closed
Go to Thorpe Park this place is way overpriced with less rides and the 'new' Kobra ride is VERY dull.
Aimed at young children NOT teenagers..
DON'T waste your money on photos or photo packages here...quality is crap and no one cares...
Best ride in the park. Arrive early and get a couple of rides in before it gets too busy and then return at the end of your stay for another couple of goes as it quietens down. Try and get front row! - Jim ♕ @4sqGlos ᶳᵘ6
Surprisingly smooth and comfortable. Feels very secure. Not too spinny. Lots of fun. Really good ride. - Rob Fisher
16400 to beat (and I was at the back). Try and get the front row seats to get the highest scores as you get first aim at the targets! - Jim ♕ @4sqGlos ᶳᵘ6
This is Zufari the zone not Zufari the ride. It also contains the Flying Jumbos ride. - Russell B
Make sure you go on a nice day or you may not see much animals and try and get a window seat. - Gavin Musselwhite
This ride really hurts especially if you have a belly. Avoid! - Pankaj Koria
A lovely ride. Broke down once when it was spinning in the same place so got fastracks. It was fun in actual fact. More fun when it works. It's a must do for rare visits. - Jimmy Miller
