I'm not sure why another tipster said kids aren't welcome here. My children have been coming here for ten years and have always been welcomed. The staff is hit-or-miss but generally helpful.

I have been coming here ever since I can remember. I have mixed feelings about this branch though, the 2nd floor is the best. Lots have great audiobooks downstairs as well .
The library 's namesake, Conrad Sulzer, was a Swiss settler in the area in the 19th century.
The online hold system is the way to go as items are rarely on the shelves where they are supposed to be.

Sulzer and Harold Washington are the only libraries open in Chicago on Mondays since recent budget cuts.
Plenty of computers. Down side is the loud teens always running through here, without security intervention
