Loved loved their Sunday roast ! Best I had for ages! Nice bloodymary , excellent location and cozy pub feeling. The staff is so helpful, they even changed a drink for my friend and didn't ask for money

Burrata with heirloom tomatoes accompanied with roasted carrots . All was great, delicious & very good quality. The service is very nice. Perfect place !

Pricy but excellent food. Highly recommend the onglet with peppercorn sauce . Home made sauce much nicer than the usual synthetic peppercorn elsewhere. Triple cooked chips also very moreish. A must try

Generally at least one beer for everyone, not often they have a darker one on tap . Good food in the bar . Gets busy so get in early if you're eating downstairs, else book in advance for upstairs.

The roast beef was one of the best I’ve ever tried. Very good quality meat, perfectly cooked and plenty of it. Good craft beer selection . Nice atmosphere.

A great and cozy experience. Recommend the leek and potato soup and the beef roast ????????. You can’t go wrong. You’ll leave feeling warm and full.

The dining room is worth booking . The chicken liver parfait is delicious and the pork belly main is worth the hype. The chips are enormous - 1 portion between 2 is enough.

We tried the pork belly , fish with clams , confit duck and the pork hock with lobster . Everything was delicious. The scallop ceviche was too sweet for my liking though.

Really great food and lovely staff . Upstairs takes reservations but we managed to walk-in with a group of 6 on a Thursday evening.

Always come here for fish and chips with a cider . Lovely staff ! Wouldnt mind a new menu. Friends always get the burger , the hake is lovely :)

Lovely place, the pub and the dining room upstairs are very pleasant. The food is also very good, the fishcake and chocolate fondant were perfect.

Great home-style cooked food, such as the roast with Yorkshire pudding . The rhubarb crumble was to die for, service very attentive. Great selection of beers from all around the world too!

The roasts looked great. I wasn’t so hungry, and my beet and goat cheese salad was perfect. And my bread came with GARLIC butter ????????

go for the mixed roast. every single piece on the plate is simply delicious. The chicken is crispy on the outside and moist in the inside, the pork belly is nice and fatty and the beef is excellent

Oh my that Hampshire pork belly , lentils and mashed potatoes ! I thought I wouldn't have finished the lentils but there was nothing left on the plate!

Good place if you don’t like cash and being full. Lamb was well presented but didn’t taste remotely special for the price and portion was laughable. Off now to get a pizza to fill myself up.
