The brisket sandwich is piled with slices of gloriously smokey meat cut just the right thickness. It's finished off with some onions , jalapeños , and their tangy sauce on a toasted bun .

Best BBQ in Richmond, hands down. The BBQ sauce makes the meal, the brisket is tender and the jalapeño Mac-n-cheese is just as good as everyone says. Eat here and you won't be disappointed.

I'm from Texas and am very picky when it comes to saying if something is good or not. But, after several friends suggested it, I came. I was really missing TX. I FOUND IT!!! Just like home. MUST TRY!!

Texas Caviar , baby! Corn , celery , red onions , and black beans . You kiddin’ me!? The BBQ sauce is sweeter; almost a cherry flavor came through. Excellent with the meats: pork , beef , or chicken !

This is my favorite restaurant in RVA! The pulled pork is amazing. I always get a pulled pork sandwich with a side of potato salad and feel right at home.

Mac n cheese is glorious. Don't be dissuaded by the jalapeño ... Not spicy . Pulled pork and ribs are awesome too. Smoke ring and everything, real deal.

Delicious food. Well executed with just enough sauce on the meat. Loved the Mac & Cheese and the cornbread and the sweet tea is perfectly sweetened. Will be back!!

BBQ here is really exceptional - quality only small "stands" with their own slow smokers can rival. PS: Collards are excellent, what a surprise.

Everything is good! I had the BBQ Platter [$9.99] with *Pulled Pork , Brisket , potato salad , *jalapeño mac' n cheese and corn bread . *must try!

I liked the pulled pork over the brisket , but both were good. The mac and cheese was the beat side.

Their brisket is second only to the brisket I experienced in Texas. The jalapeño mac & cheese is delicious.

Try the "Texas Style " Brisket Sandwich with a side of the Texas Caviar (Southwest Black Bean & Corn Salad ) was an interesting combo but hit the spot.

The Trainwreck is what you want. Jalapeño macaroni and cheese is the best.
