Shrimp po boy was delicious. Lots of shrimp , great bread , the sauce provided a little kick. Good strong coffee too, if you're in need of a pick me up.
Warren is a great server! Very knowledgeable about this place and other local places to dine at. Definitely ask for him if you are new to the area.
We had the crab cakes and the BBQ bacon bourbon burger plus an egg on top. Both were delicious! Highly recommended place to eat.
The ribs were delicious!! It was a really nice surprise to find such good Na'Orleans food in NC. The owner was really nice too.
I didn't get a chance to check out this place but the downtown district, though small, wreaked of cool. I will be returning soon...for sure!
Pretty cool setup inside. Different from a lot of downtown bars . Just needs to get the word out and some specials to get the college crowd in!
Great local beers , nice selection of food, waitress is really sweet and helpful
Charbroiled oysters are fantastic, but you can get better red beans and rice from a box at the grocery store .
Dining critic Tom Perks likes the fried catfish po'boy. Click the More Info link to read his full review. Read more
Cajun eggs Benedict are amazing
Fried Oyster PoBoy is awesome and the service was excellent.
Charbroiled oysters , drinks, beer , live music
Medium burger was completely overcooked, fries were cold, water was warm, and the spinach & artichoke dip was clearly straight out of the freezer and into the microwave.
Burger was amazing!!! I'll be back again!!
Not the warmest service, but food was pretty good. Liked sitting outside on the street!
The food is ah-mazing!!!!! Service is great, my new fave!
don't think I've had worse service.we sat for 20 minutes before anyone took our drink order.I would say the waitress had the personality of a pinecone but that would be doing a disservice to pinecones
Crawfish etouffee . ..Mardi Gras x-rated. ..beignets
Wait staff was great. Kitchen was horrible. Waited an hour for our food. Waitress seemed embarrassed to bring it out and was very apologetic. Food was ok. Band was great!
Ask the bartender what's on her tattoos chin.
Food was really really good but our service was freaking terrible & the waiter had to keep being reminded to get things!
They take forever to get food out. Been waiting an hour. It's not even busy in here. For how long we are waiting I expect the food to be out of this world or this will be my last visit.
Veggie wrap
gonna try it for restaurant drinks...drinks really
Gumbo rocks
Slow, slow service, many mistakes with food, overpriced, unprofessional employees/management, and the food was inconsistent, at best.
Really cool set up, but food was terrible. I ordered a burger and couldn't even finish it. I felt awful.
I expected better seafood gumbo . Nothing special
Don't eat here! Just good for drinks. Serves was slow.
Food was bland. Left a lot to be desired.
Fantastic porch to dine outside. Oysters and seared tuna were incredible! Cheap Fat Tire on draft. Great atmosphere after a day on the beach. - Virginia Halter
the red chowder is spicy & full of seafood - delicious! the fish & chips are great if you're in the mood for something fried. sit out on the dock for beautiful views & a breeze. - Lauren Christy
Fresh catch of the day is always the way to go! - Caitlin Belcher
Great selection of bottles and drafts. Very relaxed vibe. Knowledgable and friendly staff. Can't wait to visit again (and stay longer)! - Jim Herrick
Outstanding beer section, lively atmosphere, and friendly staff. Great stop for cold Brews! - Michael Dorsey
Fish tacos, shrimp and grits, shrimp wrap all terrific. - Hal Lesesne
