Medicine Lake

Best-kept secret in the Twin Cities and a gem of a lake . Sooo much less crowded and pretentious than Minnetonka and much more boat friendly than the Minneapolis lakes .

Nice park , huge playground , plenty of grills. Bring chairs. Free parking and a swimming area. Dogs allowed, be sure to pick up after them.

The boat launches are not great! We tore up a prop immediately when putting the boat in. There was a anchor chain the prop sucked up, so be careful especially when the water is low!

Lake doesnt get deep till about 20 feet out. Great lake to let kids swim in, since its not chest deep till your 15ish feet out.

Beautiful scenery in the summer and fun to make ice rinks in the winter!

Great path for biking , running or walking the dog. Great view .

Great place for boating! Not crowded and really friendly boaters.

Lovely little area.

Get out on the ice n catch some fishes !

Sit at the beach and get a sunburn .

Go fishing and catch a fish .
