Best kept secret in Harvard Sq ! Bartender remembered my beer of choice after one visit, this has become my go to spot. Great food that is well priced as well !

For a bar in the dead center of Harvard's campus, the Boathouse is refreshingly free of college students . Don't let the kitschy decor turn you off - there's a serious selection of brews here.

Where else can you drink, eat truffle fries , and play with crayons ? Great bar off the main area of Harvard sq = less crowded/rushed, big plus.

The bartender here couldn't fathom pouring a glass of beer into a pitcher so we didn't have to pay for both... (Pitcher in question being whisked away)

The fish and chips here are good but more than anything else, I loved the relaxed atmosphere .

Great decoration and ambiance. Especially in the early evening. Food was great too.

All of the tables have paper tablecloths and crayons to draw with!

The salmon burger is fantastic and not to be missed

It has fun boat themed decor, and the hot cider with rum is tasty.

Service is hipster slow, but anything on the brunch menu is worth the wait.
