Best southern food in the city . Always get the cornbread it's amazing. They have breakfast in the morning and weekends but their dinner is the best!Perfect Mac and cheese & true southern fried chicken

Love the food, though waited for 2 hours the last time I was there. Saturday night, finally got in around 9pm. Still a favorite though.

Order the fried chicken and make sure you get it spicy ! You won't be sweating bullets don't worry, it's a nice slow medium burn.

Everything I had was good! Spicy fried chicken is spicy ! Even the corn bread muffin and stewed cabbage were yummy.

I'm from Kentucky, so I can be picky when it comes to places claiming Southern Style anything, but Hard Knox gets an A++ you definitely won't leave hungry either!

It can get pretty stuffy hot upstairs, but for the chicken , it's worth it.

If you want a chicken and waffle and sides, add a waffle to the fried chicken and share the sides with someone else!

You can order the cornbread togo! 2 for a $1. Dessert menu ! ( Peach cobbler , creme brulee , bread pudding , and sweet potatoe pie )
