Fire Dog is delicious. Beef hotdog cooked with Dijon mustard and hot peppers topped with grilled onions , bell peppers , and sport peppers . Best hotdog place I've ever been too

The hot dog is as much a part of life as breathing air, and Mel's — quite frankly — is king. The Chicago dog is as good as you'll find anywhere outside the Windy City .

The food was great, but slightly strange to be told that if you order ice tea 2 hours before they close that you can't have a refill because they are almost out. oh well water for me!
