CA State Route 17 (Santa Cruz Highway)

I feel like everytime I drive on 17 that I'm about to die. It's really hard to type this and drive on this hwy. I'm also eating won ton soup and reading the paper. It's what the cool kids are doing

Morning or afternoon rush hours , especially when it's foggy in the Santa Cruz Mountains , multiple car chain collisions are all too common. Speed and curves are killers.

Drive in the right lane so that others can pass you.

Pretty scenic , just not fond of the driving among other drivers here

You can get a decent traffic report on 1080 AM KSCO while you're leaving Santa Cruz

Take the bus and save some money!

Really scenic drive over the mountain . Just watch out for police .

A road I've been down before

Very confusing interchange. Not too much smog though. :-)

Slow to ~50 mph on the summit; lots of opportunity to get pulled over for speeding.

Don't pick up any hitchhkers named Marc

Look straight up and don'f four square while on this hwy...or you loose more than just your cookies

Lark avenue exit to get to Audible Magic

Light takes forever

Avoid at rush hour !
