British Library Cafe

It is a bit overpriced. Coffee is good tho. Over the last weeks you can only pay by cash. I guess you pay for being able to sit down in an inspiring setting to get your work done :)

During studying, it's recommended to take short hourly breaks of five or 10 minutes - a great opportunity to have a snack , stretch your legs and take stock of what you’ve learnt so far.

Getting a coffee here regularly takes about 5 minutes, even if you’re the only person in the queue. And a large part of the atrium area has now been fenced off for diners - it’s often empty.

The food isn't bad value for the money, but it can get really busy in here. This is made worse by the huge numbers of people with laptops who haven't bought anything sitting at tables.

Come early, grab a desk and get lots of work or studying done ????

used to be a Costa, but still does great coffee , and have a very good line in cakes , muffins & flapjacks too! Stay awake for that meeting or extra hour's research in the library

Not allowed in with my suitcase , so went to cafe just outside. Delicious carrot cake !
