The perfect place for a glass of good wine and consistently delicious bite in the union square area, this is my go to for an after work meet up with a friend. Be wary, it's tiny, not great for groups .
Excellent place for a pre-dinner drink or an evening of tapas & vino . My favorite a place by the window. The bar is small so when it gets full, it tends to be noisy , not ideal for conversations.
Feels like a true tapas bar in Spain. Stand at the bar and get some type of seafood dish , jamon , tortilla and whatever else - you really can't go wrong. Wash it down with a cold bottle of Txakoli.
Always busy, claustrophobic, awesome. Great food - only cold dishes, wonderful wine list and a fun vibe. Romesco soft egg is delicious as are the mussels escabeche. Come early, place fills up by 6pm.
I've had many wonderful nights at Jamon - incredible wine selection , delicious tapas , lovely service & the best ambiance. Very cozy & intimate - perfect place to impress a special someone.
Great place! Small and cozy but with quite an extensive wine selection . Just ask the waiter for a recommendation they are very knowledgeable . Oh, and the tapas are fantastic!
Lovely bar with great food & interesting wine list . My only complaint is the crowd that got a bit too loud for the ambience I was going for at a place like this.
Good wine with a great atmosphere! Music isn't too loud , cozy place good for dates . Dishes are tasty although a little expensive (but that's tapas )
We were a party of 2 on a Monday night. Got seated immediately. Waiter very attentive with great recommendations based on our taste. Jamón Serrano and Churros are a must.
My new go to wine bar . Small and intimate with the perfect option to order a glass and a half of wine . The perfect nightcap
Small spot great to catch up with friends. They serve wine in little carafes which = 1.5 glass portions which is the perfect amount.
Cutest little wine bar ever! Great little spot for some nibbles and a catchup. Get the chorizo . You will not be disappointed.
Great for a date. Excellent wines - a cheesemonger's heaven. And a great charcuterie selection. Knowledgable staff .
Nice joint near Union Sq for vino & grub, mostly from Spain. It's puny and can get way crowded , but has great atmosphere & if you're a pair, the two window stools are the best to hang out at.
Small but good bar in its own right but most wait here for a table at Casa Mono . Excellent service and light bites.
When Casa Mono is crowded , stop at Bar Jamon for great tapas and wine ! Try the Pan Con Tomate, awesome.
Super cute ; loved the trout , jamon serrano , and delish salad
Great Tapas , I mean succulent and tasty! The wine list is full of interesting varietals . O, and its next door to Mario's restaurant Casa Mono , get two for one ;)
Juan at Bar Jamon is amazing! His has great insight on the wine list , and will help you pick the best wine for your meal.
If the cheese name is familiar, it's fantastic. If the cheese name is unfamiliar, it's super-fantastic.
Amazing food (if you're able to get into this tiny, but cozy place)
Duck into this gramercy gem. They have an excellent wine list and the guys behind the bar are sweet and knowledgeable .
Some good wines ...but overall too small, too pricey for what you get and way too loud for such a tiny place
Don't underestimate the mushrooms that arrive with the burrata . And boquerones!! ????
This small wine bar can get crowded , but it's a friendly crowd so don't worry. The wine comes in quartinos, so you can share and try more varieties.
Really sweet little spanish wine bar . Wine menu has a lot. The tapas menu on the wall sounded good. I'd go back for it.
Amazing wine , cheese pairings. Bartender knows his vino

Too notch tapas -- tortilla española and bruschetta were truly authentic and full of flavor
Excellent wine and tapas . But avoid if you want conversation. The decibel and reverb level is ludicrous. A slight auditory design change might fix the problem.
Amazing wine list and marvelous small plates
Great little wine bar specializing in wines from Spain.
like Casa Mono 's Foie , the Bar Jamon Foie is amazing. Don't hold back, get 2!
Get the Ensalada Gitana and Flan . The best flan ever.
Great wine bar and date spot .
The jamon iberico cinco jotas is superb
Packed after work, but fine standing at the bar -- great service and plenty of coat/bag hooks beneath the counter.
Jamon Iberico must have!!!! Soooo good!
Adorable little wine bar – if you can find a seat it’s worth spending an evening here.
One of our more off beat choices, but the Churros Y Chocolate can’t be beat.
Don't skip the tapas ! Order the manteca toast with oven tomatoes . It's like bruschetta but even more amazing. Better yet, get two orders
Make sure you get the jamón Serrano , or the jamón ibérico if you wanna splurge.
Great place for a nice glass of wine and a few tapas . -Carmen Gonzalez, Top Chef
amazing Spanish wine selection
Get the pan con tomate, the calamari and the Pazo de Señorans, 2010 Rias Baixas. Albarino - soo good!
Bar Jamon, a tiny Spanish wine bar serving small plates is the brainchild of chef Andy Nusser and Mario Batali.
Bad waiter recomending expensive non outstanding wines . Food is completely overpriced. 40$ for some slices of iberico ham . Not going ever again.
Delicious wine , food and Spanish waiters ... Grrrrrr
Try the walnut pesto. It'll make you giggle with girly delight. It's worth a trip from anywhere in the universe. O. M. G. - Allison Jones
Great wine list & nice service. Go before 7pm and enjoy a flight (3 different small glasses) for $12. - Jonathan Colmenares
Razor clams, Pulpo with fennel and grapefruit and a must the Foie Gras!!!! - Jennifer Cuccia
Perfect for an intimate date night — cocktails are pricey but, dare I say, worth it, and the food is great too. - Megan Paolone
Great venue. Have been going here for ever and never had an issue getting close. Sound is also pretty great compared to other nyc venues. - Melissa Rosenthal
