Pack additional cords for your laptop in a different piece of luggage that you don't need, you always have to take them out at the scan.

You can request a thorough pat down if you don't want to go through the scanner .

It was hard to understand directions from where you fill the “ pans”. No courtesy !!!!

If carrying a tool through, make sure it's less than the 7 inch max limit.

Wear slip on shoes and pants with no belt for hassle free passage.

Priority status on an early morning flight still means 20-30 minutes to get through security.

TSA checkpoint here is a disaster. Disorganized staff , unfriendly, creating confusion and longer lines than necessary.
