Lots of tennis courts in a relatively accessible location of the city (can take N-Judah muni to Irving and 2nd Ave). Reservations required at location, but usually not difficult to reserve . No lights.

Just beyond the courts as you head toward the AIDS grove are flanks of blackberry bramble . They are high up so bring a tall friend.

Coffee Bar outpost here! You can hear the drumming from Hippie Hill and it adds to the drama of your game.

What a beautiful section of the park to visit. Have a picnic, enjoy the flowers, check out the statues. I’ve biked through here and spent time relaxing in the grass. Both times were amazing. - Paige C
