Spa Castle is a spa College Point located in United States.
13110 11th Ave (at 131st St) College Point , NY 11356 United States
Ambiance is nice, pools always get crowded fast. The people who go are pretty diverse, and unfortunately people bring their kids so it kinda kills the relaxing vibe with their constant splashing.
Great Korean spa . Go on weekdays when children are less likely to be there. Baths are nude. Guys side can get little cruise-y if you are into that but for the most part it's chill . Food is great!
aqua bar (with wade-up seating from bade pool ) has beer , wine , specialty cocktails , and top-shelf liquor selection
Was there recently and now they have some rules that make no sense . For instance, females need to have their hair up at all times. Also the longstanding work very well anymore.
Have to say that I enjoyed myself. The saunas are great, the drinks were worth the money & the pool was relaxing. Could've done without the full frontal nudity and screaming kids though. Will go back!
You can easily spend a full day at Spa Castle...... A great experience I will surly repeat. That said, bring your own towel or robe ( or get one for $4) the provided 'uniform' is both sad and uncomfy
Stay in the locker room baths as long as possible for maximum serenity. The higher the floor here, the more screaming kids.
2nd floor pools have numerous bubble jets, water sprayers, and fountains . be alert when starting them up the first time - they can be surprisingly forceful
Women must have hair up to prevent hairs in the water for other guests.shower first before going into pools. Pools in locker room are nude ONLY no suits. Take your shoes off in the locker room&lock up
Lovely way to spend a relaxing afternoon. The outdoor pools are great, lovely and warm for a chilly cold day. Be warned though, no canoodling allowed!
My first trip to Spa Castle. I had such a great time, hungry mostly in the saunas and pools.Loved the staff , the place is super clean , constantly maintained. Coming again soon.
So much fun exploring all the pools, saunas , and hot tubs . Got a pretty good massage too.
Come prepared to f ur hair up n U will have a wry relaxing day. Get the oil massage or jump in the pool then hit up the pool bar before one of the awesome steam rooms sushi and bar after
Treat yourself to an ice cold beer , served at the bar on the 3rd floor! There are 3 beers on draft, and our favorite is Coney Island brewery 's Mermaid Pilsner .
Look down from the third floor at the pool and it's reminiscent of the iconic Weegee photos of Coney Island but crammed into leisure suit Larry's dream home. It is awesome and an acceptable rip off.
hinoki bath is huge hot tub made from 200 year old pine. good spot to socialize. pediment sculpture is a little creepy, though.
Big sauna then ice room, big sauna then ice room, bar , then outdoor pool , then bar then food. Food is actually really good. One of my favorite places in NYC.
This place is like a dream. You'll leave feeling light as a feather. Don't play yourself, stay for at the very least 3-6 hours to maximize your experience.
Ladies beware: there was a man in the all-nude area staring at naked women. He was also walking around the locker room area all naked scaring the hell out of the small girls and other females
The first spa I have ever gone way back in high school . Different saunas and the hinoki hot tub are the way to go :D
bade pool snack bar serves hot dogs , corn dogs , ice cream , corn on the cob, and more
nap room on the 3rd floor is kept dark and had individual beds separated by privacy curtains if you want to take a break for a snooze
bulgogi at sky garden restaurant comes with seaweed soup , white rice , and kim chi
$35 admission on weekdays and $45 on weekends at the mothership of all New York City spas . Lounge by the lazy river or groove on one of several waterfalls . Check out MetroFocus for more deals Read more
My cousin and I came labor day monday for the first time! And we came back 6 days later!! Thats how in love we are with Spa Castle!! Try out the jade room!!
We came on a Sunday and it didn't get too crowded until around 3pm. The sauna huts were the best part, each one offering a different experience. Food and drinks were overly pricey though.
Great co-ed spa ! Pools and saunas are awesome.. have yet to try any of the services but i'm sure they're great ????
on entry you are given a wristband that unlocks your assigned locker and is used to track all purchases you make, so no need to carry wallets and keys
If they enforce customers barefoot, plz make sure ALL stuffs wear clean slippers but not disgustin old sneakers walkin all over! Oh n beware of young Korean couples hav outdoor pool sex! Thats no fun!
Go on a weekday or a Friday afternoon. Not too crowded , and not over run by kids. Had a few saunas to myself which was nice.
This place is so legit! You will feel like a new person after you leave! Even your skin feels brand spanking new! Plus it's good for you!
I went almost 4 years ago in a second date and it was paradise. We still talk about it like it was yesterday. It s a lovely place and I can't wait to go back.
Its an amazing spa , great for the whole family! BUT If you're shy about your stuff, then the downstairs nude spas may not be for you! Bring a swimsuit and stay in the upstairs bade pools ! Enjoy!
Call before going, ask when you get there to make sure the pools are working by the time I left basically nothing worked and someone had p__p_d in the pool. I will be finding a new place for scrubs.
I've been here about 7-10 times and it never gets old. I love the nude hot tubs in the locker room but having a little two year old boy sitting next to me as I was naked was too uncomfortable.
$40 weekdays . $50 weekends. Well worth the price. Try going on a weekday to avoid the crowds + kids.
Kids should not be allowed! To them it's a water park when in reality it should be a place of relaxation for those who need it!
Went on Tues 4/19 @3, packed, but fun. U get a watch w/ sensor that locks your lockers, serves as scan system to pay for drinks, etc. Piña coladas are very strong & good. $16.50 tip&tax auto-added(!!)
chair massages on 1st floor - $20 for 10 minutes (includes tip), or use massage chairs $3 for 10 minutes
you're supposed to walk against the flow in this resistance tunnel , not use it as a turbo boost for swimming
There's children. Total buzzkill!
extensive salad and fruit bar on the 1st floor
meditation room on 3rd floor features serene glowing cauldron fountain
If you bring your kids...keep an eye on them please. Don't let em roam free and when they get hurt...it's your own fault ur not watching them.
starbucks coffee , frozen yogurt , and sushi counter on 1st floor
Best time for me is at night during the week not crowded . No kids, love it here
Great value , very relaxing. But don't buy 1lb plate at salad bar , fruit plate is more worth it.
If this is your first visit, ask for the tour and where everything is.Very confusing for new visitors.
good view of the pools from the sun deck by the fitness center
private hydrotherapy baths may be rented on the 2nd floor
Definitly a grt place to unwind! - Suehay Jimenez
