Love this place. Have lunch or dinner here - it's delicious with great serving sizes, or just sneak a few pastizzis, sweet or savoury, and the panna cotta to finish off ;)

What can I say, I'm a sucker for spinach and ricotta pastizzi . Flaky pastry and tasty filling and reasonably priced. Satisfies the pastry cravings. A great place.

Loved the Beef Cheeks . The Gnocchi Quatro, Penne Amatriciana, Spaghetti Crab & Prawns were pretty good. The Penne Salmon was alright. The Truffle Risotto was pretty bland although the taste was there.

Delicious down to earth cooking - great pastas and large portions . It's always busy though. Recommend booking on weekends or be prepared to wait!

I love Pastizzi cafe! The food is amazing and service great! Besides the Pastizzi its known for, the spaghetti marinana is my favourite and make room for the best kanolli in town after!

Love the pastizzi esp the savoury ones like chilli and curry . Pasta dishes are massive and tasty, great value for money even if service is a bit brisk.

Great food. Mostly good service . Unfortunately it's small and they take bookings so being told you can only sit for an hour for dinner as a couple is a bit disheartening and off-putting.

Outstanding pastries . Flaky & fresh. Chicken & chorizo , spinach & ricotta all great for morning snack . Also open till late.

Pastizzis are great for breakfast , but the pasta is the best in Newtown. Boscaiola is top shelf , and pesto prawns for a starter A+

All of the pastizzi is good! My fave is beef and dark ale . Try the chai as well .

Food here is great, besides the Pastizzi that its known for the speghetti marinara is my favourite and leave room for the vanilla kanolli in Sydney!

Open late on a Sunday, great for a snack after a session after the theatre . Spinach and ricotta is nice.

Beef and Dark Ale pastizzi was pretty good. The Spinach and Ricotta was average.

Sometimes the Pastizzis can be dry. The prawn & cram marinara fettuccini is sinfully delicious.

Ask for a random dozen of pastizzis. Every bite, a new surprise.
