The Great New York State Fair is the oldest state fair in the country , dating to 1841! Though they've seen better days, some of the depression-era, WPA buildings have wonderful detail and character.

30$ for the wristband gives you unlimited use of all the rides and all of the goodness of fried food is what is best here. Just don't get the lemonade from the lobster roll . Very disgusting.

Everyone should go to the state fair atleast once in their lives. Its so much fun and so many things to do. I go every year ever since my parents took me as a child.
