Alverthorpe Park

If you're looking to get in without an ID I recommend parking outside and walking in. They hardly ever card pedestrians and bikers who enter alone or in a very small group. Jogging almost always works

Great park to run around with the children. Trails are nice. Small driving range for the golfers.

I live in Center City , but I work across the street. Paying employment taxes locally should allow me to use the park . And it does! Security always let's me in when I explain it.

Park is enforcing ID to enter. Abington Township residents only. Be prepared to show ID.

I live in Abington but find the main entrance inconvenient. If you're trying to sneak in park on Evergreen road , cross Jenkintown road to the Abington art center, and jump the fence there.

Park closes at 5pm now!?!?! So even if you are in before 5pm you still have to leave at 5. This sucks!!! Anyone know any other similar parks like this one?

This is a great place to relax , fish , bring your kids to the playground or simply go for a walk/run. They have a great trail that winds all throughout the park .

Love it here but find it stupid that only Abington "residents" are allowed in. I'm from Fox Chase and go for my runs around this neighborhood so sometimes I get lucky and sneak in on the trail .

Closure to non-area residents and the "no domestic animals" rule are both insane, but there's no denying the universal beauty of fall foliage. Whoever makes these decisions needs to loosen up.

It's ridiculous they card people to gain access to the park .Besides that it is illegal,it's also not neighborly.Behavior at the gate is bad,township should look into abolishing restrictions paid by us

Great place for the kiddies to run

Great place to walk. The trail is 1.7 miles .
