House bratwursts are excellent...not to course, not over seasoned. And of course they have an epic German beer list (all on tap !) as well as many good locals like Cellarmaker
Lunch special changes every day and it was delicious!!! The pineapple soda was so good, I bought an unopened bottle to take home! Bar staff was perfect! This place will be on my list of returns!!!
German beer on tap is great. Staff was super helpful in picking a beer I would enjoy. Best place to get a beer in Redwood City!
Vibe is very German beer hall. Outdoor seating , lots on tap both German import and local craft brews . Brats and kraut were good
Great selection of beers on tap , has a German beer-hall vibe. The specials on the menu are great and the giant pretzel covered in cheese and meats is a must-have.
Best German Bar in the bay . Very underrated gem.
Great selection of both German and local beers ...in large volume! Oh and please don't forget to get one of the delicious pretzels with cheese .
A fun place to hang out any day of the week. The biergarten serves German beer and local microbrews on tap . Entrance around back. Tuesday- Saturday try authentic and delicious German lunch .
Excellent fare; inconsiderate evening patrons (1st impression). See a few people with plates of food -at least give up your seat for a few minutes so they can eat. Amurricah!!
Very good European-style pub food (pickles , pretzels , Brie cheese ) - and that review comes from a European. Also, loved the service.
Great place to enjoy a beer on a Saturday afternoon. Also the store side has a great selection of German beer to take home and enjoy later!
The store has tons of Milka, Rittersport, Haribo, and Hanuta straight from Germany! Why is the bag of Hanuta $9?! Kinderschokolade is in English. What. Also tons of German beer .
Currywurst is super good. Actually spicy and comes with fries !!!
Beer Garten open daily to 10 SM to10 pm. Great beer selection . If the kitchen is closed, go 6 doors west (toward El Camino) to Paradise Kabob House or Ike's Lair.
Enough of the iPhone BS. This place has some righteous German beers on tap + great guest taps. The owner, Volker, is awesome, and the food specials are excellent. Easily one of the best beer destin
Food is amazing. And the selection of beer !
It's best not to take your prototype iPhone here! I'll say it, just so everyone knows.

Date #4 for Nic and Lydia, grab a liter of beer and a giant pretzel .
Drove to the address and it looked like a closed storefront on Broadway. Entrance to the beer garden in the back!
The outside patio is dog-friendly! Also: closed on Mondays & serves food from 5:30-8 (afterward, you can just bring your own noms in).
Great place for large group of friends but get there early to reserve a table!!
Good beer ! Ask the bartender if you can taste some so you can find one you like!
Kitchen is closed Sun-Mon.. food is usually good, but can be hit & miss depending on who is in the kitchen and how busy it is. Beers are fantastic.
Why are you reading this? You should already know this place is beer heaven. Great German food , too.
Food is good and inexpensive . But be prepared, place is very noisy .
