You'll queue for ages if you don't come early. But it's a must photo site for any die hard Harry Potter fan . The gift shop next door is pretty big and has a huge range of merchandise.
Loved it! You can choose the scarf of your favorite house. Personel is enthousiastic and they don't make a problem if you make your own pictures without buying one of theirs
Mi infancia quedó resumida en poder haber tenido una fotografía aquí/ since I was a child it was a dream for me. If you are a real Harry Potter fan this is a must ❤️
Queue moves fast, so don’t fret! Also, the lovely shop staff will outfit you with a wand and house scarf , and even throw the scarf for the perfect pic. A must-do for all witches and wizards!
Well , you just have to come here if you’re a big Harry Potter fans ! Long lines but worth it to take your memorable photo!
There's a queue of 45+ minutes to take a picture, holding the cart... it is actually nearby to track 9, so look for that and the long line !!
If you’re near end of the queue tape, it’s ~30-40 min wait! Go during shop hours – attendants help line along as well as provide themed props (owl cage/luggage/house scarves/diff wands) for effect ⚡️
Every fan of HP should have the chance to take a picture at this iconic place and also take back home a personalized letter from Hogwarts!
So much fun! The wait is a bit long, over half an hour. However, they have props, platform 9 3/4 characters helping out and you can take your own pictures!
Funky photo opportunity right at King's Cross St Pancras. Queue to be provided with your choice of Hogwarts house scarf and a wand and grab the trolley!
Okay! As everyone has already said, there is a massive queue and a guy taking pictures for money, however! If you're a bit shy and want to take it yourself. The queue and guy is gone after 10:30 pm.
You can take the picture for free, with the props. You can get 2 printed for £15 ( not the one's you click, but by a photographer ). The staff are very courteous and help you regardless !
Are you a Harry Potter fan ? The. You must come and check out platform 9 3/4! There will be a line to take pictures, so come early or really late to beat the rush.
The staff is really enthusiastic + You can choose the scarf in the colours of your favourite house
So worth the wait in line for a magical photo op. Plus, the staff are kind, happy, and accommodating for fans eager to take the perfect pic.
Make friends with those around you in line so they can take photos with your phone. The lighting is good enough where you don't need the 'pro' ones.
There is a long queue because apparently there are loads of wizards in London, but the staff is amazingly friendly and fun, would definitely recommend going!
The cameraman and station captain working at the platform 9 3/4 photo section are jolly! (: Makes your wait in the line less tiresome.
Stand to the side and take your own quick photo.
Pick a house and a wand and take a photo while pushing a trolley through a wall to the Platform 9¾
a bit under the weather, hey need to improve their flash photography . Since it's their own space, they can easily set up a 3 flash hanging soft fills.
I like this place and the store! Great products! I wanna go Hogwarts! I love my photo!
The Harry Potter shop was really cool, must say it is very crowded so would recommend to not bring big backs/suitcases
If you're a HP fan , you can't miss this place. It's worth the money and waiting in the super-long queue;)
Love it! Got photo well worth for £7.50 if get 2 for £15 with friend ???????? lovely day before home
The magic is intact & my devotion to HP had me go back, but I was sad that it's in a closet overlooking the street (temporarily?). Saw it when it was inside the station & b/t platforms 9 and 10!
More muggles hanging around these days. Watch out and make your entry on to the platform swift! ;)
A 2011 survey showed that Hermione Granger from the Harry Potter books is the most popular fictional dream date for teenage readers. Now go and take a photo next to Platform 9 3/4.
Really good fun for the kids! The staff were super fun as well .
Film (Sort Of) - This is actually a tribute to the reference of the books . Between 9 and 10 lies no brick archway. The scenes were shot between 3 and 4.
For those who can’t find any tickets to the WB’s studio tour .
Harry Potter fans won't want to miss the chance to visit the famous Platform 9 3/4 - located between Platforms 9 & 10 - at London's Kings Cross station Read more
Great service and very kind consideration for PWDs! Love the ushers!
Line up early to get a photo with it. Or just take a picture of it from the distance when the next person is not ready.
Long wait but worth it. The guy with the eyeliner in charge of the scarves should be paid millions, he is the greatest.
This Station is so much better since it's been renovated. Moving through the station is a breeze, a good selection of shops.
These days it's not between Platforms 9&10, but close by and next to Watermark books .
You can take a photo with the props, and can purchase photos, too.
A must for HP fans to take a photo there!
Fun place, just wish they'd put the old trolley back. This one's chained to the wall. The last one was a part of the wall.
Accommodating for large groups or single pics, quite busy all the time.
Take photos of the people taking photos with the Harry Potter props, it's really fun.
Line was long. The camera girl was always having issues with her camera so never was able to get a nice professional picture. Pretty disappointed.
It's a tourist trap but still worth checking it out...for your childhood's sake.
They take away the cart at night and put in shop! Plan accordingly if you want more than just picture of sign on wall.
Long queue but quite memorable. Staff was very entertaining and will let you snap your own pictures instead of theirs
Kinda fun, but causes a crowd which blocks the way
The happiest part of any train station of any part of the world.
Line goes really fast and it's totally worth it.

Changing of the Guards was awesome. Highly recommended for tourists visiting London. But get there early if you want a good viewing point, the crowds are insane. - Andrew P
Definitely for under 8 s.. different type of tour. American style or something you expect at Disney land. Worth it when 2 for 1. And pictures at the end are good . - Lee Player
Good fun, interesting trivia, a few surprises. A different way to look at London :) - Lee Jackson
Amazing place and it’s a must if you visit London! You can spend hours & hours inside so plan well if you are time poor. Worth to hire the audio as it can be really crowded to get too close. - Maria
