Restaurant Review: Sel et Poivre plates an international setting and serving. https://nyctravelsblog.wordpress.com/2017/03/22/sel-et-poivres-plates-an-international-setting-and-serving/
Everyone in there is an absolute doll. The owner, especially, takes a genuine interest in his patrons and is so great with the older patrons. Family restaurant done right.
The fettuccine with creamy pepper sauce is pretty good, a little bland, but still ok w/ pasta made in-house. The garlic butter escargot is pretty phenomenal! Avoid their Pinot Grigio , it's pretty meh.
Get the set lunch ! Fettuccine is excellent and the chicken is so succulent. Waitress is always smiling too.
Ask for pepper to see the four foot long pepper grinder in action.
Up and running for 25 years. Welcoming hugs to the regulars who "Just happened to be walking by and stopped in."
The four foot fresh pepper is quite impressive! Excellent food!
Great ambiance, great wait staff , excellent food
Prix fixe between 4 and 7 pm, 3 courses plus a glass of wine . Quite a deal!
Good service !
It's not worth its salt. Or its pepper .

The worst service, so slow and rude. Food is meh. If you have to come just come for a drink outside. - Janis Huang
Good Irish food selection. Somewhat upscale and creative twists in old favorites. Try the Bangor Wonton! - Mike Kalen
