Wright's snowbird home, Taliesin West (1937), helped define Arizona architecture . It was built almost entirely by Wright and his apprentices, making it among the most personal of his many creations.
Whether you are a fan of Frank Lloyd Wright or not, this is a fantastic place to visit. As a "fan" I was in seventh heaven walking the grounds and buildings and listening to every word of our guide.
One of the coolest things to do in Phoenix- amazing history, architecture and views .
Take the 90-minute tour ! Our guide was knowledgeable and made the experience so worthwhile. We became even more curious about the life of Frank Lloyd Wright afterward.
Go for the guided tour (as opposed to the self-guided one) you will learn so much!
Absolutely love this place, although FLW wasn't an AZ native, he is welcomed as one with his contributions. The sunset tours are perfect for a dating experience.
You have to sign up for a tour , but the tours were long and you can take lots of photos.
Well worth the price of admission. Our tour guide John really knew his stuff and was quite entertaining.

It is spectacular! Do the 90 minute tour , it's awesome!!!
All entrances constrict you before a release in the room welcoming you to the space. Embrace and Release.
Awesome tour...especially on Mondays at 11:30am. It's hot right now, but you go in and out of a/c rooms, so it's very bearable and smaller crowds.
Rather than removing the ridiculous $2.50 surcharge for online ticket purchases, they ADD an additional $1.50 per ticket when paying in person!
90 min tour is great
The tour is very informative
Lori the tour guide is a wealth of information but very surly. Very patient. God forbid you ask a question.
Choose the 90-minute "Insights" tour . The tall guide (I think named Jason) did a great job — he's an alumnus of the Taliesen Fellowship.
The view is the best
