The Captain Crunch Sushi Roll has recently been changed - if you're expecting the crispy tempura it's no longer served that way; it's still tasty, just different from the original menu item.

Has to be one of my favorite restaurants in Des Moines! No matter what you try it's always good!! Go on Fridays for their Lobster Bisque soup ! It's mouth-watering good!

The gumbo , Swordfish , and the girlfriend roll were all amazing! If you come here ask for Ray, he's a great waiter !

The sushi menu is excellent, but the daily specials are always amazing. The sourdough bread is always worth ordering, and the soups (especially NE Clam Chowder ) always get rave reviews from all.

The seafood gumbo is actually pretty good for the Midwest and every meal I have eaten has been full of flavor. Great staff and service.

Had the blackened swordfish with the New England Clam Chowder . Will probably order both every time I come here from now on. Fantastic!

Eat st the bat with the best bartenders in town . Go with a beer and the cpt crunce rool.

For a great, economical option for lunch , order a simple bowl of Clam Chowder . So hearty... So warm and tasty on a cold day...

Disappointed by a place we normally love-out of rock shrimp (rude waiter said they had been for 2 wks) and out of catfish . Couldn't justify staying for bad service AND limited food choices.

Disgusting food; carpet smells; lazy wait staff ; people who like this place are missing their senses. Go to Splash downtown if you want good seafood , and Wasabi Chi if you want good sushi .

Halibut royale and grilled salmon were terrible. Flavorless and dried out. Presentation of the food was basically non-existent. Hostess had an attitude.
