50/50 burger was really good, nice combo of flavors. Nice selection of beers , friendly bartender AND the music was not obnoxious. First overall enjoyable bar dinner in a while
Chicken and waffles was one of the best I've had in DC area...still looking for someone to beat the ones I've had in Charleston...but it can def keep up! Excellent service every time I have been.
Really great late-night gastropub . I got the tuna tacos , and while I was apprehensive at first, they were phenomenal. Best onion rings I've had in a while, too.
Mountain Song BBQ inside... Washingtonian : 7 New Barbecue Joints to Try Around DC "slow-smoked meats using VA -oak-and-hickory-fired pits. It runs Friday through Sunday during the fall"
My oyster Po Boy was a little dry. The firehouse salad , hot tea , and fries were all excellent however. It's got a great atmosphere too! The music and architecture are smooth.

Bloody Mary tasted amazingly fresh! Had to splurge on the chicken and waffles which was good and bad for you as expected. Our server Hannah was a delight! Till next time!
The atmosphere & food are absolutely wonderful. Yes, the service is slow, but not bad. I'd definitely come back many times.
Featured on the Food Network, this place can get packed on weekends, but is great when you need a nice, semi-formal weeknight meal/date.
The oyster Po-boy is tender and yummy. The Caesar salad is great. Mussels are cooked perfectly and very well cleaned .
The mussels are outstanding! Huge portion for the price, and beautifully presented.
This place is a delight. Eat outside if you can. The desserts are worth getting
Great atmosphere along with great food. Three different levels
Sit at the bar and ask for Jamie's Entebbes cocktail . Delicious and fruity but not too sweet.
They have a great atmosphere, appetizers for a nice little after work encounter!
Excellent meat and cheese plates . Ask your server for a recommendation. They won't steer you wrong!
Scallop dish was really small for the price. Pork shank dish was amazing and a generous portion .
Housemade Lemonade #epicfail watered down lemons in a cup. Blueberry waffles decent...disappointed
Try the Cornmeal Crusted Oysters - So many flavors! Chipotle Mayo!http://www.foodnomad.net/2012/06/columbia-firehouse.html
Watered down tomato juice and huge chunks of what I hope is horseradish do not make for a good Bloody Mary . Ick- pass!

I had the meatloaf and french fries which is actually the Sunday special. It was okay, when I go back I will try the fried chicken and mashed potatoes .
The Vermillion group has the best hanger steak , hands down.
A great place for Sunday brunch .
Tuna tacos , onion rings and eggs ..nom nom nomm. Good comfy food
The mint ice box cake is a light, mousse like dessert . It's great!
The falernia is probably the best red wine I've every tasted... Definitely a mans wine though
Killer mussels and beautiful architecture
The Ceasar salad is nice and light with a nice tang of anchovy ..
Went for lunch and the food was pretty mediocre, at best. I had a salmon Caesar salad . The atmosphere is nice, but the slow service and not great food is a ????????.
It gets its name from the old Columbia Firehouse!
Nice draught beer list
Rueben egg rolls are awesome
Open until 2, even on weeknights!
Try the meat and cheese sampler
Bitches say B! Stellar atmosphere for a relaxed conversation, but the menu could use a few tweaks.
Try the Kabocha Squash Soup
Place location and design is great... Can't say the same about the staff . Too bad
Great food, drinks, and service.
the onion rings .... the smoky mayo sauce is the best of the four dipping sauces ....
They make a great sazerac
The food wasn't that good, but the atmosphere is great.

All I have to say is chicken and waffles . Amazing.
