Really delicious and unassuming place. The salmon and albacore sushi were my favorite, along with the yellowtail carpaccio . The yellowtail collar as also divine.

Try the live shrimp , so good. They'll fry the heads separately and although it sounds weird, you eat them whole and they're awesome.

Delicious eggplant and other veggie dishes . The rolls are quite nice as well

The party sashimi platter might be the best deal on the menu. Excellent Spanish mackerel nigiri .

The rice was the star, as it should be with sushi . The nigiri was fantastic.

Great sushi ! You would not expect something so hip and authentic a block off the insanity of Hollywood Blvd.

Hamapeno rocks, Bobby is a great sushi chef . Cathy will take care of you. Be sure to order apps: shisito peppers with bonito flakes , lotus root and eggplant are excellent.

Not as good as we expected. Portions were small. We are still hungry.

Excellent chirashi à midi: poisson de première fraîcheur, présentation artistique très japonaise et service très aimable. Un véritable restaurant japonais à recommander!
