New York Renaissance Faire

Bring lots of dollar bills so you can tip the performers ! Do more if you can afford it because they're great! My friend and I are still students, so $1 it was.

Get your costumes , get your flower wreaths, and get your fingers ready for the NY Renaissance Faire ! Ask one of the staff for archery tips if you've never done it before. Worked for me. Bullseye :D

I love to come here at least one tome during faire season. Theres something for everyone. Food, drinks, chill and entertainment for all ages. Try the snake bite drink and the turkey legs ! The

crowded & expect long lines everywhere, including atms , bring cash! Wear comfortable walking shoes for the hike up from the parking lot , 20 min walk, or try catching a shuttle that stops sometimes

the little flower crowns are $25 but very cute . don’t make the mistake of buying one right away at the gate though - there are more inside as well as lots of other options: horns, elf ears , hats, etc.

be prepared for sticker shock: everything is pretty expensive . vendors and performers take cash only , but there are lots of ATMs around the faire .

take a picture of the map to carry with you on your phone, much as they did during the late renaissance .

Everything about this was fantastic. I'm definitely going to come back as much as I can. So much fun to be had, I don't know where to begin.

Always fun. Try the mead - its potent but delish. Tip the servers for a huzzah. Check out Nuns, Wenches, Ded Bob, Vixens. Do NOT do the halloween stupidity of fear. waste of time(3+hrs) & $$$.

Highly highlyyy recommend the "Pumpkin Pie " it's a pumpkin ale and mead and the single most delicious drink I've ever had ...In love is an under statement

I went on 2013 and I liked it. I went on 2014 and I liked it again. It seems that its a usual thing, to "like" this place every time.

Dress for fun. From knights to elves to wizards to proper period clothes , the faire is more fun if you dress and act the part. Nerd out for the day; you know you want to!

If you can, take the pub crawl. Fun jokes, good beer , and you get to meet people from all over!

An excellent escape from reality. Don't be afraid to dress up. It doesn't have to be fancy just fun.

The best turkey legs around and the Faire is actually one of the best in the country !

Head over to Donuts & More for fresh hot mini donuts . Best treat at the Faire .

A fun experience but can get pricey if you want to do a lot.

Bring your own bottle of water because drinks are expensive and there's a ton of walking.

Everything is good. Love this place. Get the pho !

So much fun! And I'm not even into all this fantasy cosplay stuff...well maybe I am now!

Arrive early or be prepared for a bit of a walk from the car.

Staff parking is on the left right before the main office . Look for the orange fence.

Yay Ren faire

Get there EARLY avoid free parking at all costs! Left faire @5:30 got out of parking lot @ 7:30. No help & people were downright rude. Made for a sour note to what is usually a great event .

Archery is pretty fun. Try it out.

Miss it already...

Doesn't know the difference between English and British, which is awkward. Fun way to spend a day, though.
